Found 27th Apr 2008
Wireless internet access is free of charge on all National Express East Coast trains in both Standard and First Class and in all National Express East Coast First Class lounges.

Whether you need to check your email, find out what's happening at your destination, or simply do a spot of online shopping, the National Express free wireless service lets you stay connected on the move.

The technology combines broadband satellite and multiple mobile data connections to ensure continuous service along the entire East Coast route. Our system automatically selects the best connection in the area, which means your session remains uninterrupted throughout your journey, even in tunnels.

You need something to do on these trains as they frequently break down and you end up in the middle of nowhere for hours.
