Free Wifi hotspot Access in Europe/UK for the second week of November!

From 0001 GMT on the 8th November 2010 to to 2359 GMT on the 12th November 2010, Skype Access will be free to use, so you can surf the web, send email and make free Skype-to-Skype voice and video calls at Skype Access-enabled WiFi hotspots in cafés, hotels and airports across the UK.

Internet Week Europe is festival dedicated to celebrating Internet organisations and culture.

***How to get free Wi-Fi in the UK between 8 and 12 November***

1. Make sure you have the latest version of Skype on your computer, laptop or mobile
2. Sign in to Skype and select an available public access Wi-Fi network. You'll get an automatic pop up message if the one you select is not compatible with Skype Access, so you can select another.

p.s. This is FREE wifi thus free internet access at a public hotspot
This is not free phone calls to landlines/mobiles

Does this mean it will be free on the trains??

nice but when will the all the mobile operators allow sky and VOIP goverment are useless

yeah I was disapointed to, but did pick up BTOpenzone at Reading and Birmingham City centre
