You must cancel your subcription before the month is finished otherwise you will start getting charged around £8-£9 per month.

So, technically its not 'a' free month. Its a case of 'if you subscribe you this package then you wont begin to get charged until the end of the month'.

Just signed up with PP and cancelled no problem, even making sure the automated payment in PP is cancelled too.

You've cancelled your Unlimited World subscription. You can continue to make calls until it expires on December 30, 2013.
No further payments will be taken unless you reactivate this subscription.

The real question is how much is 8.49 worth? How many minutes are we … The real question is how much is 8.49 worth? How many minutes are we talking here to international countries on average (guestimate)? Is it better than sim cards like Lebara or Lycamobile who offer 1p/min for most countries and at most around 8p/min to certain asian countries?

In my book free is better than paying for anything, even if with Lebara etc. So for the trial period this wins doesn't it?!

After the month is up continue with Lebara

You can't call the middle eastern countries

Israel, America and all their allies! Lol

Thanks! Will be taking advantage of this continuously as Christmas gets closer!

what a selection

Thanks for posting this OP. However, not exactly "Worldwide" in the true sense!?! Even if it allowed mobile calls to Australia, Ireland and a few more Asian countries then it would've been pretty good.

This has been around for quite a while. Very restrictibe on countries you can call, so its not worldwide.

Brilliant this will be useful for the Christmas family calls while out of the country.

Brilliant .. will be able to keep in touch with my son

Problem is you can only call to mobiles in these 8 countries: Canada, China, Guam, Hong Kong SAR, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Thailand, United States.

Whereas, Lebara or Lyca allows you to call mobiles anywhere.
