3515407.jpgEveryman is offering blue light card holders from the 3rd of August a free pair cinema viewing! So two tickets (films are between 12-15£ a ticket, so can save up to £30!). Make sure you claim your code via the blue light card app now before all codes are claimed! There's 3,000 codes available per week I believe, and this is valid for cinemas outside London and inside London

Many nhs peeps are anti-gathering. The best thing you can do to thank them is keep your cinema shut and encourage all to stay at home as much as possible.
No films in Birmingham what a shame

I do hope this was an attempt at humour.....
You'd have to be mad to sit in a cinema at the moment

Not really. What is mad, people still in your personal space in shops etc when there are clearly visible markers on the ground for social distancing. At least at the cinema there will be seats available and seats that can’t be used. Sometimes I wonder if people actually know what’s going on re COVID as a whole lot of people don’t care about social distancing.

yeah but in the cinema your breathing the same stale air for over 2 hours. surely it’s similar to an airplane environment and your increasing your exposure when you have multiply people in the same room as you for ages.

No different to dining out & eating or going to the gym at the mo though. Still breathing that same stale air as everyone around you.

Maybe for some. Personally I want to do something normal. I’ve been working on the front line, going without seeing my kids for weeks and months at a time. A lot of us have made sacrifices the general public wouldn’t dream of. It’s getting to the stage where some of us are at breaking point. I get your sentiment though, you’re not wrong, but it’s not a rule.
