Is 4k ready the same as 4k.
Wow that's expensive for broadband. I pay less than that for my setup which is 200MB broadband plus full house TV plus weekend calls

Im paying £28.99 for broadband & BT sports app which I watch via xbox console or stream via chromecast

£23.99 BB
£5 Bt Sports app
Certainly worth looking into if you are getting BT internet for the first time and there are no other alternatives
Just to let anyone know the smart hub is horrible for wireless

It is beyond me why broadband would require a 2 year contract

Last 12 month I paid £34 a month for 200mb b/band with weekend calls and full house tv

Just renewed and I'm paying £45 month for the same package first month £13 with some bill credit added to renew again. Couldn't get it down to the £34 again which is understandable as that was a cracking deal for last 12 months

Who is that with?

And the reason it's an inflated price for the broadband is because the cost of the device is built into the package.
Currently paying £29.99 for 80/20mb with BT.
£45.99 is just for BT sports on the app is that not about £5?
Do BT still want more than Virgin for a service that is less than half the speed?
efc_4ever04/11/2019 13:27

VM

I wish VM had a good connection in my area but sadly their broadband results in unacceptable hourly disconnections

So they can actually pay up for the price of the TV

It's expensive for companies to get you online. From the cost of equipment, installation and all the bits in between if they had to shell all that out for you to just cancel even 12 months later it wouldn't be worth it, hence contracts. Just think about how much money it takes to keep a company like BT running, they need guaranteed revenue

Or they could offer a competitive price like other companies and then you would stay with them
Out of interest, anyone know the model or specs for the TV.
