If it was £71.10 then ok

Feels like a gimmick as no keyboard or pen. That said, I'd listen to an argument that this is ok for a gamer......

it does come with pen but no mention of a keyboard

Wrong picture. That is the surface book, not surface.

My mistake, it does say it comes with a pen. Under specification it says keyboard is available separately.

Didnt they just release a new high end version of the surface book, bring out a surface desktop and a surface dial?

Doesn't sound like they have stopped development.

A while back tech forums were saying the dev teams were being cut back, this is usually a sign they are going to give up.

Sales have not been good, and M$ have a history of not supporting devices long enough to establish a market - just look at their phone division.

Of course they may have changed their minds, but I wouldnt buy one as you are paying for Apple style eye candy rather than the tech inside.

But that is just me, function over form.

AFAIK, the news was quite old which is quite true during earlier surface development. Surface pro 4 and Book (current gen) is still selling very well and they are likely to release to the new version during spring next year.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing! I'd be fairly confident in the range having a healthy future, the new Surface Book announcement doesn't suggest to me they are cutting back, that and the Surface range is very successful both critically and commercially.

So its went from stopped development to forums said a while ago. Thats a pretty fast backtrack. At this rate they will be bringing out new products any day now... oh wait.
