I use Gmail and there is already a way of doing this on your Calender. Cant remember how as I did it 3 or 4 years ago.

Yes can add googles own sports calendar in Google Calendar however this only seems to cover league games, not cup and unfortunately as they are shared/copyrighted with google it will not download these to your phone/tablet if you sync google calendar to your iOS or android calendar. So googles own are only suitable if you are browsing Google Calendar online.

This method they are visible all devices and you have cup games.

Try a website called markthisdate. They do they same as this but most calendar are user maintained;perhaps not as accurate or up to date. Let me know if you can't find it for Juventus. Pretty sure they will have one.

Unfortunately my team on markthisdate only had two fixtures; its what lead me to find this new offering from sky. The Telegraph used to do it for free until some busy body said they couldn't clone the fixtures as the league had the right to them.

However sky sponsors most of the leagues and put so much money in they can do so.

nice find - I wonder if it shows cup fixtures for teams too

I think you can subcribe to the competions fixtures, or each team, but it wont notify you as such on a device i dont think, you had to eyeball the fixtures . Your maybe best just carrying around a complete league fixture list/getting one from the internet

If you use Gmail, on the pull down option for 'Other Calendars' select 'Browse interesting calenders'
Then Sports > Football > Serie A > and suscribe to Juventus

you can add mutilple calenders e.g. your team, full premiership etc

in case you can't get the adtional calendars to sync -

Sync Google Calendar with your iOS device

CalDAV is an internet standard that’s used to sync Google Calendar with your Apple iOS devices (including iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch) and iCal.

Getting started

Listen to instructions while you follow along
Don't worry about memorizing instructions - have them read to you while you're syncing your device. Listen Now
To sync with your device, follow these steps:

Open the Settings application on your device's home screen
Open Mail, Contacts, Calendars
Select Add Account...
Select Gmail
Enter your account information:
In the Name field, enter your name as you'd like it to appear to others.
In the Email field, enter your full Google Account or Google Apps email address.
In the Password field, enter your Google Account or Google Apps password.
If you are a 2-step verification user, please use an application-specific password instead of your regular password in this field.
In the Description field, enter a description of the calendar (e.g. "Personal Calendar").
Select Next at the top of your screen.
Make sure the Calendars option is turned on.
After you've completed setup, open the Calendar app on your device. Syncing will automatically begin.

By default, only your primary calendar will be synced with your device. If you have additional calendars you’d like to sync, follow the instructions below.

Sync Multiple Calendars

ME: you can just use a desktop don't need to use a mobile browser

Visit the following page from your device's mobile browser: https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect
(Google Apps users can go to google.com/cal…ect, replacing 'your_domain' with your actual domain name)
Select the calendars you'd like to sync, then click Save.
The selected calendars will be displayed on your device at the time of the next sync.

Requirements
Syncing via CalDAV is only available for Apple devices running software version 3.0 or higher. Here’s how to check your software version:

Tap Settings on your device's home screen
Tap General
Tap About
Your device's software version is listed next to Version
To upgrade to the latest software version, follow the instructions at apple.com/iph…ate.

Excellent link can also be useful to give to friends and family etc to add even if they aren't football fans so that they know not to invite you to or plan events etc on matchdays

Nice one. Countdown to the new PL season begins....

First off - Not everbody has or uses Google Calendar. iOS, users probably use iCloud for example, PC Users use Microsoft Outlook etc

Secondly as I discussed in #7 (and this is applicable to iphone users at least

This is definatly true on iOS devices, you can not get google calendars sports calendars to appear in the native Calendar app. You have to be on google calendars via a web browser to see them. As for android I suspect this is the same, but as the Android Calendar app is efficively google own creation they may actually come through there, I dont have an Android phone to know for sure.

Great find ...thanks

This is actually pretty cool thanks!

Nice post. I'm a Wigan fan and some of our fixtures have already been changed since the begining of the season so this will be really handy.
