Hi
Thanks for letting us know!
I haven't had a read through of all the comments yet, but I have had a quick look through them, what I will say from some of the posts that stood out is that Shopitize is not dead.
Capped offers have been introduced so we can provide a better selection of offers with higher rewards, we might not have aced the delivery on that front though. We’re always learning what’s the best way to do this and unfortunately we don't exactly have a trial run for this kind of move so we might not get it right every time.
From an overwhelming response, the voucher code is clearly a lot more popular than we had originally understood and we've definitely taken that in particular on board for offers in future weeks, especially from some of the comments on KiKai's HUKD post.
I completely understand your frustration, and we appreciate your kind understanding that in order for Shopitize to be a sustainable business and bring more offers to you, some of the offers must be capped.
Thanks for your patience, and if you have any other questions, please get in touch – we’re here to help.

Bwahaha... The reaction to capped offer is better than my reaction, hehehe, love it. I'm not massively bothered by Werthers so not worried.
Voted hot here not voting on the main deals this week
I can see why they have introduced these capped offers
they have just made a real mess of it
Thanks for posting KiKai
Thumbs down for Shopitize making ' Happy Voucher Thursday' a capped offer
I hate the capped offers, as a carer for my gran I will miss so many as I can't get to the shops very often, so by the time I do I get most offers will of gone, no point bothering with this one as I won't get to shops till at least sat, think will end up uninstalling soon as I have a lot of problems with receipts not been recognised as well for no reason,
I've come to the conclusion this is what shopitize want, for people to stop using the app because they are paying out too much. I agree capped offers suck and most people won't have chance to claim their cashback
Its run out already!:(
It's already run out - would not even let me enter the code on my app

Message says- Oops! Sorry! This limited code has run out now. Better hurry next time

Given that it's about 1 hour since they posted the code on their Facebook page, I'm very unimpressed.
Not sure this is fair, I entered code OK,but even says 97% remaining,my friend got error saying too late when entering code

I entered the code earlier this morning, so wonder whether this means that I have 'secured' the offer and can redeem it at any time? It says 93% left.
Thanks KiKai - I looked on their Facebook around 10:15am but nothing there then.
I managed to enter the code, then the offer didn't appear until I refreshed, then it took ages to accept I could click the button to claim with an error message that went away after about 10 OKs and a few App restarts.
Doesn't look to me be many 'capped' offers left as it's down to 93% already - ie down 5% over the last ten minutes or so - which can't be THAT many of us ready to pounce at the shop snapping receipts surely ?
At this rate the offer will be gone by 1pm!
I entered the code this morning and now says 92% left. Rubbish that it's capped
Gone so quickly, so how few were available to start with?
Please all sent emails & complaints to shopitize regarding capped offers.
I've just done so
or boycott shopitize
Shopitize is dead
I would recommend getting your payouts requested just incase they shutdown out of the blue.
IF you successfully redeem the voucher code [which from reports above was limited in number though no mention of that visible on Shopitize's Facebook announcement - which I believe is 'the' published source] the offer that then appears is capped, but watch out that the App does NOT auto-update the cap thermometer %

eg
12:12 = 92%.... look again at 12:46 = 92%, but then forced a refresh (eg when looking at the offers drag down the pictures area until see a refresh circle) and suddenly 92% was down at 90%.... just refreshed at 12:49 = 89%... refresh12:59 = 88%....refresh 13:13 = 86%... refresh 16:50 = 68%

So don't just believe the cap thermometer bar, force a refresh!

PS: Incidentally is anyone still seeing the week's/capped 25p milk offer ? Or did they eg all get redeemed yesterday so the offer has vanished from everyone?

PPS: This new - "we want you, but not so many as last week, nor too many of you, so you guess/gamble with our caps which of you we want" - attitude from Shoptize is becoming a case study in how to trash a App & brand in 48hrs!

Thanks for post KiKai, no fault of yours..It won't even let me submit the code again .. I just got the message that it had run out and I was too late, on the voucher code page. Gutted
Someone expire as all gone, sent email too about capped limit, no harm to.

Ive already done this. Make sure you're upto the £5 limit. By doing the capped offers they've lost a lot of confidence and goodwill.
What happens if all the codes go and those that enter it dont get the item for whatever reason? People who would've bought it cant get it because they cant even enter the code. Very poorly thought out.

The unannounced/surprise limit on the number of voucher codes that can be entered is prima facie INDEPENDENT of the unannounced cap on the offer itself within the App.
It's entirely possible, particular based on their description of the cap, that having entered the code validly, you will still be denied redemption by the cap having been reached before you reach the shops & get their App to accept the receipt.

Though the optimists will guess that having had the voucher code accepted the offer will remain available as the "cap #" = "voucher #". But if that were true why would the offer be implemented as a Capped one, it should have been the voucher redemptions that were described as capped!

All this uncertain gambling to get your free (or costly) Werthers

"Good afternoon, Shopiteers! Following its popularity, this week's voucher has now run out. Thank you to everyone who unlocked this week's treat, and thank you for sharing your thoughts on this week's offers! We will be sharing your feedback with the team today."

They don't even seem very concerned that it ran out without 30 minutes and 99% of thier regular and loyal users are not happy.
Which voucher has run out? The special weekly one is still showing in mine, I logged out and back in to check, still there, says 84% left
Just went to Facebook, saw the dislike, and comments from others saying they still see it left too. I'm confused by this, don't want it myself but trying to watch to keep track...
