Why the chilly temperature - saving £266!!

Why chilly? ... Perhaps because your title states 1GB when it should be 1TB? :-)

Ha sorted thanks

Any reviews?

Can't go far wrong at that price, maybe original price a bit enthusiastic but a 1TB hard drive for under £40! I'll try one! Heat added!

Just ordered 2 thanks op. :-)

OK, £5.69 postage. Drop in the ocean compared to your £266 saving. Another option if Debs sells out.

can't find information on Freecom website, possible discontinued

hopes that will not the same issue with this one

Fair enough, £39 for 2 x 500GB hard drives still aint too bad, especially with what you're getting with it.

Good deal if they actually have any stock. Debs always seem to take my order then 2 days later i get an email saying the order has been cancelled due to no stock!

does anyone know whether I could use this to stream MP3s to my DLNA Blu-ray player, so I can listen to music through my home cinema?

Must be just me, living in the North of Scotland.

Be carefull if you have this set up as 1TB, the 2 drives will be striped, so if either die, you lose all data.

Lovely. Hopefully that's the storage problem sorter with a couple of these. We going for mis-price, or you think these will be honoured and despatched?

thanks op ordered 1

ordered three (me, dad & sister).... ordered quickly. fingers, toes and eyes crossed. seems a bit too good to be true though.

Could this be used to host a website ?
Or is it just for local media sharing ?

Not bad for a basic NAS + Router.

If it's got a web server service in the firmware then yes it can. I know it's got bit torrent so you'd think it would also have a webserver.

Ordered 2 myself.

Must be a misprice though as you could sell the 2 x 500GB drives inside for 30-35 alone surely.

My order tracking shows: "We are still waiting for stock to complete your order. We are currently unable to display due dates but this is something we are working on. "

Never worth £300+ as the suggested price, but at this price seriously hot.

Those buying don't expect wondrous speeds.

I wonder if this will take 2+tb drives.

I've been looking for something like this for a while, but could never find anything within my budget.
Thanks OP!

*fingers crossed*

i will wait for my email then

"Order status: Your payment has been taken and has been approved for despatch."

...maybe it's not too good to be true after all?

does quidco work with debenhams extra?

Thanks OP. Was looking out for something like this. Ordered and confirmation e-mail received. Fingers crossed!

Is there a way to some how connect it to an LG BD550 Blu Ray player so I can play mkv files off it. Im thinking hard wiring it somehow because am I right in saying the movies would stutter over wireless.
