A fun and functional family sized 6 man tent.

Two equal-sized bedrooms
Large living area with two exits
Easy to pitch
Brightly coloured for a light, airy feel
The Freedom Trail Eskdale 6 is ideal for those who need a functional family tent without the extra details of more expensive models.

A three person bedroom at either end opens up onto a large central living space with external doors and windows on both sides. A removable groundsheet covers the living area and helps to keep things clean inside.

The fibreglass poles slip through roof pole sleeves and are retained with ring and pin fittings to make pitching easier. Pole clips attach the flysheet to the poles and help to stop the tent flapping in windy conditions.

A vent behind each bedroom allows air to flow through the length of the tent, reducing condensation. In sunny weather the doors can be rolled up out of the way or converted into an awning with the included porch poles.

Practical and fun, the Eskdale 6 is family camping at its easiest.

Discount card required. Apparently costs £5 a year.
We just bought the outwell Oakland xl from GoOutdoors. Always lots of great offers. Well worth the £5 discount card if you fish, camp, horse ride etc. lots of stuff. However the discounts are off the RRP that no one sells at. Si not all things are cheaper than online, however they will match any price you find cheaper online and give an extra 10% off (something like that)
Their price match is really good.

The discount card thing is a huge pain in the ass - and the single reason I choose to go to Millets, Blacks, etc... instead. I tried the card thing once, but the fact that it expires every year is just hassle I don't get at other stores
Hydrostatic head 1500, no use for our weathers.
nice price

Hydrostatic head 1500, no use for our weathers.

Yes, I have to say that has put me off all the Freedom Trail tents. Some people will say 1500mm is fine, but I personally wouldn't buy a tent with less than 3000mm.
Not particularly well made tents by all accounts. Spend a little more and go for a better brand.
The material on these tents is quite thin, saw one pitched on the campsite we were on the other day and at night time with a light on you could almost see inside.
instructions are useless. Then it started to rain and took about an hour to get the poles out as i put them in the wrong place.
Now its soaking wet and so am I. Have to try again when it stops raining any help on putting it up appreciated!!!!
