Might be a good idea to add that its a contract at £8.99 per month op.. i personally dont like how it wants all your personal details before telling you how much it costs, i did actually wonder if its a scam so ive not voted either way

The Verdict: 5.93/10
However cheap its tiers might be, terrible support and slow WiMAX-era speeds make FreedomPop a disappointing mobile broadband provider.

There is a free option each month 200 mins 200texts and 200mb you do have to pay for the sim though then nothing good for a spare sim I have it in a spare phone

Because? The better provider of free calls/texts/200mb per month, after a onetime 6.99 payment is ______ the reason being _______? (fill in the blanks) thanks.

I've ordered the free package, for a spare phone.

Ah, thought it seemed too good to be true, so you can't just take the trial then drop back?

This shouldn't be in Freebies - there is a £1.99 "postage" charge.

thanks OP

I've signed up to this, got the same email and was about to post, now I'm wondering if I made a mistake in assuming I could revert to the free package after the first month? Anyone else know? Heat btw

Yes you can downgrade at any time.

Join the freedompop forum, there are FAQs explaining exactly how. One tip: don't downgrade until just before the free month ends because as soon as you downgrade you lose the extras. So if you used the extra allowance you would have to wait for the next billing cycle to get more free minutes/text/data.

I ordered this a few weeks bag on the free plan with 200mb data and 200mins of calls each month. It seems to work fine in my spare phone and you just pay a one off fee of £6.99 or so and get the plan for life. Data works straight off, but you need to download the app and log in to enable calls.

Unexpire, as this still works, as I JUST used it some minutes back!, & ..... happy days, lol. :-)
