Be very careful with freedompop I got one of their free sim's with free credit each month. I cancelled the trial as soon as I activated the sim and downgraded to the free basic plan. This was back in February and have been using the sim in my tablet. While checking my bank statement last week I noticed a £3.99 freedompop charge on there.
After going through my bank statements over the last few months. It turns out they have been charging me £4 a month since February. So I logged onto my Freedompop account and noticed that a Premier service had been added to my account. I did not ask for this Premier service. So I tried cancelling it my self to no success. I then had to go on their forums and message a MOD to help me. While on the forums I noticed a few people having the same issue. A mod replied to them and said it was a fault during the downgrade process and accepted the fault down to freedompop and gave a refund for the all the payments taken.
After a few days a different mod replied to me via PM stating the same that it was a fault with the system and they would refund me. However, They could only refund me 3 months worth of payments as it's impossible for them to refund the rest. I then copied and pasted what the other mod said in the public forum to the other user offering him 7 months worth of refunds. A few days later the mod replied to me giving me a BS excuses saying oh yer we just this week changed the policy that we can only refund up to 3 months.
So yer I don't trust them anymore and have since taken the sim out of my tablet and deactivated it.

Thanks ill give them a call see if I can get the rest refunded.
Quite unscrupulous business practice to me. They admit fault on their half on public domain with evidence but yet expect their customers to pay the price of their incompetence. Thank goodness I didn't signed up to these lot been posted for the best part of the year on HUKD. Sometimes going cheap MNVO is not the best answer cutting cost here & there with how long can the business plan survive. Okay with a disposable number but not my main one.

Pity, I was tempted there... Still, if this is pre-pay, there's no reason for them to have any monthly overcharge.

I'm on 321 PAYG network but not sure their network is as good as Three's own network. Back of my mind tells me it would be slower for data. Is the email generic or only specific accounts only?

Does anyone have a link for the FREEDOMPOP app that supports dual SIM phones that lets you use a normal SIM without taking over the standard contacts and messaging apps?
