Anybody Know if this phone is unlocked ?

also wondering

As far as i know all carephone warehouse/e2save PAYG phones are unlocked.
i have bought quite few of the years all have been unlocked.

Just to say they do cough up the quidco aswell, as bought some stuff of there before, it do take sometime to get through but did get it in the end.

I cant find this deal on their site if I go via quidco. If I use the link on this page it takes me to the deal but quidco won't track that way, right?

right!

Try this
Clear cookies
Go to quidco sign in
open e2save link
Then goto hotukdeals in new page
open its link
copy hot link after e2save.com this bit 6bf56gf5bg5h54n565g4h5nnhg65
Then paste over the bit in e2save quidco page might work

I don't think that will work. If you open the HUKD link, and also open the e2save website via quidco and compare them, it seems that e2save have a seperate 'microsite' specifically for quidco clickthroughs. Compare the e2save logo in the top left hand corner.

How does the topup work? Is it applied to the sim before you receive it - i.e can the phone be used straight out of the box to make calls?

Yeah, the credit should be on the sim card and be credited within 2/3 days.
The credit won't instantly be on there.

Think he quoted the wrong post...i think

Got it working. Direct link for the £0.00 version is ]HERE.

Looks like you have to have TalkMobile network though for the topup.

The link you just posted is the same as the go to deal link is it not? The problem that people are having (me included) is finding the handset for £0.00 when goin through Quidco.

Don't think the cashback will track with this. Looks like the only way to do it is to go to Google and search for:

"New LG GB102"
Then scroll down to the e2save link and use that, goes straight to the free phone but I think it will override the source from quidco to Google or flyer and won't track the cashback.

after careful look it looks like this can't be redeemed through quidco.

How come? What terms does it breach?

As is said in my earlier post

"it seems that e2save have a seperate 'microsite' specifically for quidco clickthroughs. "

how much would the quidco be on the 2.50 phone, which becomes 12.50 with the credit?

Does it work out cheaper than the 10 for the direct link?

Cashback is £7.50 so with that it would only cost 5er. Who knows if the cashback will actually be paid though.

Good deal, good phone for festivals so you don't lose your iPhone?

Sorry if it's been posted already, use the link on here and add the phone to your basket. Close the window and go to quidco, click on e2save and the mobile will be in your basket and you still get quidco.

This works but it's a bit of a risk as to whether or not the cashback will be paid. I might give it a shot though.

The sound quality on this is absolutely horrendous. Really crackly and very difficult to make out what's being said. Otherwise very neat little phone. Ok for emergencies or as a spare

I decided to try and cancel when my topcashback claim didn't track. When I called in (after Sunday and Monday) they said it had already been dispatched (on Bank Holiday Monday), and said I should just accept delivery and phone later to arrange a return. They did not mention the fact that this would probably be at a cost to me. I then said I'd just refuse delivery and they said fine but asked if any free accessories would change my mind. So just a heads up, you may be able to get free accessories if you try to cancel first. Their phone number is 0800 0496032. I still cancelled.

Nice.. great deall

I did this and it hasn't tracked :-( - maybe a manual claim will be successful - got to wait 30 days though.

Also, phone does not appear to be unlocked - inserted a '3' sim and the phone refused to start up.

Anyone any ideas?
