Where? Amazon is £49.99 & Dixons is £42.28 delivered

I think he means that freeview boxes in general are cheaper.

Agreed, but for anyone thinking of getting Sentanta Sports, then this deal includes 3 months subscription ...making the freeview box itself free.
]Sentanta Digital TV Pack

The way Setanta is regarded around here I think this deal would be warmer if it didn't offer Setanta at all

So £40 for the box - £20 delivery and £15 sign up fee = £75 for a set top box with Setanta sport for 3 months and them having your credit card details and months of grief trying to get it canceled

Voted COLD as it's infected with Setanta.

Cold!!

Setanta rocks, it's free on Virgin and has bucket loads of the good stuff so if anybody wants to try and argue otherwise then I'm ready to make you feel very small!!! ;-)

Setanta is very good if you are happy with it (and if you get it for free) the problem is if you are not happy and want to cancel your contract with them, then they are a different company altogether.. I wont go into it here because there are several threads explaining just how hard it is to get them to cancel your payments.. but if you are happy with them and dont wish to cancel then that is fine.

Hmmm - I take it we ar not all Setanta fans then by the vey temperature of this 'deal'....

Now if it showed Pet Resuce, or Tom & Jerry - it would be just right for me!

Off to chase some birds....

Puuuurrrrrrrr

have you tried this

Here at Setanta we are always keen to hear feedback from our customers
on the service we offer, therefore we prefer to speak to our customers
directly. Can I therefore ask you to call 08712 00 33 22 and press
option 2, this will allow you to speak to one of our dedicated Account
Management Agents.

Alternatively, you can write to Setanta Sports on Freeview,PO Box
800,Kirkcaldy, Fife,KY2 6WD, giving 30 days notice of your intent to
cancel.

or just cancel the DD. If it's a rolling subscription there is ****** toot they can do.
