These machines are a bit ‘pah’. You have to put ice in the middle to freeze your mix and it does take ages. The motor just goes round.

The syrups are good though... got some blue raspberry ones on 3 for 2 a while back.

I’ve found if you have a half decent blender you can just use ice, water and the syrup to make a pretty decent slush in about 30 seconds!

Slush machines like this are just a pain.

As said above, either get an ice crushing blender and add syrup..or try something else.

Agreed. Quicker and easier to use ice from fridge rather then wait on these things. Each to their own of course.

For a sec, I read heading as Free Bear Plushie
Thanks OP, gona have Slushies in Winter instead of Hot Chocolate!

Gona switch it up a little.
You can usually buy the slush puppy syrups from Ryman stationery too also Amazon sometimes have the gift packs two in a box for a tenner

@Dom_D One for you ;p
If this is anything like the slush puppy one, it’s FAR superior to blending ice and adding syrup, which tastes nothing like an actual slush puppy.

Agreed that it’s a big of a pain. You have to add a ton of salt and ice to the central container, and it takes about 20 mins.

But the end result is a legit slush puppy, vs flavoured crushed ice.

Isn't it cheaper and less hassle to go to the shop and buy one
1. Shops do shut
2. Often shops don’t sell them
3. It can be way more hassle to go out to get one, depending on where your local shop is.
4. Kids love the process of making them.

Point is, this isn’t pointless. To you, perhaps, to everybody, no.
A man cave must have that will only ever get used once 😄
Why is this getting hot? These machines are a waste of money.. it's an over priced blender that just chops up ice and you add the syrup.. If you want to make the same thing just get a poly bag.. put ice in it.. wrap in a tea towel and hit with a rolling pin.. open up.. add syrup.. hit again and mix around job done... No expensive machine that is a pain to clean and will go unused in the cupboard.

Dunno seems like you can post any old tat these days and get heat

I only looked up the Blue Raspberry syrup e number.
Causes hyper activity and headaches with added palpitations and pain LOOOL good stuff.

Some of these are really bad news guys.

They aren’t blenders, no blades in these. You have to add ice to make it cold, but you don’t drink that ice, it has salt in it...
Bought one of these ages ago. as previously mentioned, you have to put ice in the machine for it then kind of make some other water you put in cold. I initially thought you would add water and syrup to get slush, if i have to go through the making ice process separately might as well spend half the money of this and buy a nutri ninja / ice crusher which will do other things as well.
Just my 10 cents.
Guess the price is not bad compared to RRP - but i think this should be no more than £20 ish as a gimmick so wont vote either way - FYI has been 33 and 35 on Amazon.
What about women kind?
Great, just bought mine for the daughters Xmas pressie 🔥🔥
Poor item to be honest and probably struggling to sell them
its incredible😄😄😄
I've always wanted a slush puppy machine, until I watched the video of the effort it takes, childhood dream ruined 🙈
They dont work , save your money ....

FYI the one you buy from the shop is "renewed" simply by adding more water and syrup mix. They hardly ever change the mix, thus leaving you to buy old slush that wasn't sold.
I used to work in a shopping centre that had one of these merchandisers that sold slushies and at night when leaving home the machines were turned off with the slush mix which they never changed.
