- Chène d'argent French Brie - also the Reduced Fat variety!
- The President one (200g) is £1.50 in Tesco and Asda.
- We bought this recently and were very impressed with the quality.
- You can't get better than French Brie, imho.

Heat from me.

As you rightly point (yet) out another great buy from Lidl, which the supermarket snobs still miss out on.

Voted hot, reduced fat stuff (any) ought to be banned, just eat less and enjoy.

Completely agree! We don't eat cheese very often, but if we do, it's the full-fat types. And at this time of year, Brie is a must-have.

Agreed. Bought this one recently and we were very impressed. We got the President one when it was on offer at Tesco, but - erm - unfortunately, it vanished. Not sure where it went to .....

one of the tastiest I have had. just bought another 2 half hour ago. shelf is now empty in the gorseinon store.

hot deal heat added

Same price in Aldi also

Is it made in Germany?

Bought loads when it was 49p

Good stuff, check tesco, they were doing a huge block for 99p. A full round block. Just yesterday in the shop.

its always this price except when on offer for less. nevertheless voted hot as its cheaper than most but quality wise is similar to the brie priced around a quid in supermarkets I.e. the basics stuff at 1.09 in morrisons etc
