I don't recall seeing one that resembled the photograph you chose. Cold from me!

You've voted cold because I couldn't find a photo of a fresh chicken on a Morrisons oven fresh counter? A cooked chicken is a cooked chicken, I'm sure you know what one looks like!? What an idiot.
Do you know the offer time limit?
Clucking great price
Fine if you buy it early in the day but Morrisons' hot deli stuff dries out by the evening. There's a reason the other supermarkets seal theirs up in bags.
£3 a chicken. Come on people this is too cheap. The chickens must have had a terrible life if Morrisons can cook them and sell them for £3 and get profit.
<------- Awaits the chicken police and their views on chicken welfare........
^^^^^^ Looks like i was too late X)
Wow, we managed 6 replies before someone mentioned the chicken's life - is that some sort of record ?

They can reduce them to 49p and still make a profit.

Still doesn't stop them being tasty
Offer runs Thursday-Sunday

Just how much would you like me to spend on my food? Enough to negatively affect my quality of life no doubt. Enough so that I have to move into less spacious accommodation. Traitors to your own species, you lot.
are these free range?
SWhyFader

Free range, well looked after, wrapped up with a little blanket and tucked in every night before the slaughterhouse (_;)

Not to mention that the blade used to slaughter the chicken has been tenderly etched to depict the smiling face of the chicken's favourite X Factor contestant.

I would say he means the one in the picture looks yummy but the one's he saw in the shop didn't look anywhere near as nice as the one in the picture.

Think before you call people an idiot, idiot.

You hear that, people? Proof that they even have access to adequate karaoke facilities.
Smash some brown sauce on it, with some fresh home made chippy chips... awesome.
How can you get "home made" "chippy" chips ?

Morrisons are vertically integrated, that's how they can do it - simples!

They're not going to are they!? The photo is a chicken with veg on someone's dining table. The end result. The chicken counter won't look like that as they are literally cooked chickens placed on a hot plate. Idiot.
Brilliant price

In defence of Turnip, the comment by Lakeside WAS idiotic and even more idiotic for voting cold for the ambiguous reason they gave. Thanks for the post Turnip. I was going to Morrisons this afternoon anyway and will buy one
Turnip

Idiot.

Turnip!
Hilarious, reading this really made me chuckle. As it happens we have a couple of chickens in the garden that give us free range eggs. We'd never eat our own chickens so if I can get my chicken a bit cheaper then it saves a bit of money to pay for the underfloor heating and sky TV in the chicken coop!

Who says they are making a profit from these??? It's a called a loss leader, gets people into the store who then spend money on other things which then make them a profit.
Nice bit of frozen veg and sorted

would be a bit crunchy!

lol
I think its a good deal, I'll be getting a couple of these yummy cluckers, I'm just a little disappointed that no one so far had asked if it is halal as with all the other chicken threads.
Cold , normally i would vote hot on something like this just to annoy the veggie brigade , but , I bought one of these yesterday on the way home because i wanted something quick when i got in , never again it was VILE , soaked in a bag in slimey crap that smelt like old tea the breast was like old paper and dry as anything and the legs were just slime filled , its was horrible honestly , i wouldnt mind but i live in the North East and all around the Morrisons store are farms that deal in everything including chickens that have much more meat on for £2.50. VILE VILE VILE
Sorry poster
