Morrisons Fresh Cream Sponge (Assembled Instore) is currently on offer at £1.00 from £1.55 @ Morrisons, the same cake is sold @ Asda for £1.35

This has previously been posted and recieved a good response so I though I would give all you fresh cream cake fans a heads

I don't even have Morrisons near me LOL thats the worst bit, I am posting for the greater good its a shame people can't appriciate it lol

They always have some on offer -the precise ones vary from week to week - err - or so someone told me

Love these - can't beat a fresh cream sponge for a quid!
Morrison's probably make the best sponge cakes. shame there isn't one close to me. I'd be straight round there stocking up.
These are much nicer than the Asda ones which lately seem to have very little cream filling in them. Also worth trying is the Omrisons one with spiced fruit filling...
They aren't baked instore just so you know, the cream is added in store but are both delivered in. Nice though but would say they are usually a pound or very similar.
Yeah, the sponge comes in pre-made. The cream is freshly whipped and added in-store though. Still super tasty though so it doesn't really matter.
Couldn't make them at home for £1. Yummy.
All Morrisons fresh cream cakes are made in Bradford.I collect them myself in my refridgerated truck and deliver to all Morrisons RDC depots throughout the country

These cakes are not baked in stores they come in pairs already baked by some other suppliers. only sponge and they just add cream between them watch them putting them togather in the earl morning
