Many thanks and apologies

haha dont worry you could have done worse, i keep writing 2007 aswell and getting forms rejected and stuff.

Shame about the ingredients, far from natural and some quite dangerous :-(

Sodium Benzoate: "Professor Peter Piper of the University of Sheffield claims that sodium benzoate by itself can damage and inactivate vital parts of DNA in a cell's mitochondria. "The mitochondria consumes the oxygen to give you energy and if you damage it - as happens in a number of diseased states - then the cell starts to malfunction very seriously. And there is a whole array of diseases that are now being tied to damage to this DNA - Parkinson's and quite a lot of neuro-degenerative diseases, but above all the whole process of aging."

Sodium Laureth Sulfate (Car enginer degreaser and Car Wash ingredient): Products containing these substances can affect those prone to eczema and other irritants. These chemicals provide a foaming quality to the product, allowing for better distribution of the product while washing hair or skin and while brushing teeth. When rinsed off, the product will have cleaned the area but will have taken moisture from the top layers of skin. In people with sensitive skin (prone to dermatitis, acne, eczema, psoriasis and chemical sensitivity), the drying property of these type of detergents can cause flare-ups of skin conditions or may worsen existing conditions.

I would avoid, especially if you or your children suffer from exzema or dry skin.

Interesting, thanks for the post.

Firstly I can't find where Fresh Deli state their soaps are natural ?

As for dangerous whilst I completely agree people should be adequately informed about the ingredients in ANY product for either personal use or consumption it has to be said that information like this has to be taken into context.

For instance Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) is commonly contained in a great many products:
Soaps
Shampoos
Bubble-baths
Tooth paste
Washing-up liquid / dish soap
Laundry detergent
Childrens soaps / shampoos
Stain Remover
Carpet Cleaner
Fabric glue
Body wash
Shave cream
Mascara
Mouthwash
Skin cleanser
Moisture lotion / Moisturiser
Sun Cream

Sodium Benzoate is also found in a great many products and also naturally found in apples, plums, cranberries and prunes.

I'm not by any means trying to put down your information but I do think you have to be careful sometimes with copying and pasting information without a proper explanation of how that information has been arrived at and just who the source is.

To be honest if people knew half of what goes into normal everyday products and foodstuffs there would be very little leaving the supermarket.
It's all a question of balance, personal choice and people educating themselves to know the risks they are taking.
