Sorry Loopijuce.
Not voting either way as some people may like this - and Aldi's products are generally very good, but we found this haggis to be a tad disappointing (maybe we got the one and only not so good one).
However, wouldn't be surprised to hear others had a more enjoyable experience.
For me this is a deal, and I'll pick one or two up in the morning.
I am usually happy with Aldi haggis, don't recall if this is the usual brand.
The leg of pork joints at £2.99/Kg seem reasonable too........................

I was wondering why I had the inclination to grab a haggis the other day, thanks for reminding me!
And once you've got it - head on over to this FREEBIE to see how to cook it with Neaps & Tatties with 'Whiskey Gravy'

Had one last year and it was good but can't remember which supermarket it was from. Usually prefer to catch a couple myself out in the wild.
Aldi can keep it thanks

And if you can't be bothered going out to catch them - when not spot them?
You can spot them on these live web cams! - You might even win a prize if you do!

Used to love Haggis until I became a vegetarian. Heat for the price anyway

These little b*ggers are very hard to shoot as they hide in the heather..........

Just for you jrodthealien; http://www.macsween.co.uk/recipes/Macsween-vegetarian-recipes/1248/

P.S. try haggis balls (meat or veggie) in a chocolate gravy sauce - totally scrumptious!
Is haggis only for the scottish?

I thought taking them from the wild was frowned upon as they are an endangered species

looks like we have a joker here

Yes, a carp one
Just tried the Aldi haggis, unfortunately most of it is now in the bin, god knows what`s in it.
Been eating haggis for over 20 years and this is the first one I have disliked.
Next Burns night I`ll be going to a butcher or higher end supermarket for mine........
