200g in Asda - i.e. half the weight.

Very cheap OP - hot.

With the good early weather we should have loads of places with a glut of English strawberries, and thus loads of these offers. I know that I am losing a load from my garden due to going mouldy as I can't eat them fast enough!

thats what preserves are for. or make some coulis etc and freeze them for iced cream afternoons. me heading for a poss lettuce glut so lettuce soup here i come. always other ways of using gluts.

I've been suffering at the hands of the terrible fruit we get served up in supermarkets. Asda and Morrisons being the worst offenders with shocking quality. I know it can be a regional thing but it could easily put me off fruit.

My brother got me some strawberries from Costco. Amazing difference in taste. Sadly, imported from the US.
