I'll try "nothing" then as it tastes better!

When I caught crabs they weren't as big as this!

I think they are cooked and they were previously frozen.

As crabs go, these are small/medium size. The local fish market in Leeds does huge ones double that size for a fiver and being bigger they are much nicer texture and more meaty claws. They are cooked and ready to eat. All the soft parts are edible except for the gills (dead mens' fingers) which are obvious feathery looking things, off-white, which you simply throw away. To the person above who prefers Alaskan king crab: that is utterly tasteless compared to our own North Sea beauties. You must be an American.

Can a man with crabs, claim for nippers off the social.........:D

You can't beat a nice fresh brown crab.

Voting hot but not really "local" to me. The locally caught crab here on "Spam Island" is delicious but very offputting when the fishmonger hands you your purchase and utters one single word. "Enjoy". Gggrrrrrhh!!!. Does me 'ead in.

are they free range? (_;)
