I think that's a much better name than the original croissants :-)
who ignored what now ??
On a more serious note, the Aldi and Lidl bakeries are the best IMO. Freshly baked daily apparently

We always looking for faults on others, instead of appreciation or one single good word. Wish we correct ourselves first, spelling is too far away.
Thanks a lot anyway !!!

Lidl croissants are lovely, also the pack of ten for just over a quid are great too. Always have good use by dates on them as well.

I thought corrisiant was a splendid word and said so!
Their croissants are OK-ish. But Asda's are much better on a par with Tescos, and similar to M&S's. And Costcos are better again. You pretty much get what you pay for. Morrisons aren't worth buying, Sainsbury's OK-ish. Similar to these
Mind. 5 for a quid.....thats good
freshly pawed by lidl shoppers yum
if you can forget about that then some of the stuff is pretty good
dont recall the price being 5 for a £1 .. though tbh didn't look too hard

Disparaging people based on where they choose to shop is pretty pathetic. Anyway, are you a lidl shopper yourself if you know that some of the stuff is pretty good?

durr..they are hardly likely to be pawed by tesco shoppers are they?
I believe freshly part baked is more accurate, all Lidl bread is trucked in from Denmark part baked I believe.
Nothing wrong with that mind you and agree their bread tastes good enough and is good value.
Yum. Buy a big bag full and freeze them. Get them out as you need them - defrost and warm up in the time it takes to make a cup of coffee. Speaking of which......
Awful crossaints.
They were fighting over the croissants at a Lidl store I visited, first thing last Saturday.
Nice price but the average person usually misses out after the locusts have been through and emptied double figures of everything into their trolley, But that could just be Swindon.

Second that. The sizes are quite generous, compared to Asda Morrisons

Flaky Fresh baked croissants ,
They are [b]gorgeous...
These are excellent. IMHO much better than Morrison's/Tescos etc., on a par with waitrose for a fraction of the price.
These are lovely

Morrisons croissants have more taste and more buttery flavour although Lidl croissants are slightly bigger. I occassionally buy and eat both but I feel Morrisons recipe is better overall. Currently 6 for £1.25 at Morrisons.
In portsmouth lidl 49p per one.

I can confirm that this indeed does happen was at my local lidl earlier and saw with my own 2 eyes a group of people who looked liked immigrant s pawing over the croissants throwing back ones they didn't want

I disagree. you pay higher prices at ASDA/Tesco cause you want to pay more. Lidl fresh croissants and pastries are the freshest and tastiest around. dont mix paying high prices and quality. Lidl and Aldi broke that mould years ago.

That is a cheap shot at an honest opinion...have you tried Lidl patries fresh out the oven ?
I can assure you, they are not baked fresh everyday, just defrosted
ASDA bakery sells 10 for £1.75
Anybody know the ingredients of these? Cheap vegetable fat or proper butter?
