From the most storied franchise in slasher history comes Friday the 13th: The Game, a love-letter to a date synonymous with horror. Players will get to live out the movies as they take on the role of Jason Voorhees for the very first time in gaming history! Playing as either Jason or a Camp Counselor, gamers will witness the rampaging madness of a cold-blooded killer as he stalks his way through Camp Crystal Lake.

The game is a faithful tribute to the franchise, all the way down to the tiniest detail. Whether it's one of the many iconic film locations that have been chosen for the game, or the various Jason Voorhees models themselves, fans can rest assured that everything in Friday the 13th: The Game has been painstakingly recreated with accuracy in mind. This is truly the love letter Friday the 13th fans have waited more than 30 years for.

Game Modes and Features
- 1v7 Multiplayer: With maps spanning multiple iconic locations from the movie franchise; play online as either Jason Voorhees or a Camp Counselor trying to survive the night. The choice is yours!

- Authentic to the Franchise: The game draws expertise from horror icons including Sean S. Cunningham (director/creator of Friday the 13th), Tom Savini (FX legend and effects director of Friday the 13th), composer Harry Manfredini (various compositions from the franchise) and Kane Hodder (Jason Voorhees actor; Part 7, 8 , 9 and X).

- Unlock and Customise: Level up and unlock new playable Counselors or Jason models; spend hard-earned CP (customisation points) on new kills for Jason or game-changing Perks for your Camp Counselors; even unlock new 80's inspired clothing to show off during matches! Friday the 13th: The Game has tons of content waiting to be discovered!

You're better off waiting or the digital sale. Pretty sure this was on sale for £15 recently.

Maybe the Devs should spend less time on Reddit and more time fixing their game.
Grump over.

It was around £11 on Ps plus a few months ago. Tonnes of fun, especially with friends. I wouldn't pay more than £15 though as it's not a complete game and still has plenty of glitches.
Late last night I asked Amazon to price match this, but got the usual "we don't price match" response. They did pass on my comments to another team, who didn't 'price match' but did actually 'reduce' the price on PS4 (although currently out of stock) but not for XB1.

I did drop in the hint that it is likely to hit £14.99 soon and that they would sell more copies at that price in a day than they have sold in the last 6 months, but sadly it didn't sway them to be competitive.
