i'd get it from zavvi for the quidco myself.

£46 from zavvi

Prefer Zavvi to Amazon, cold deal, shame I clicked hot before I realised it should be freezing.

Hot from me.............rather pay a few quid extra than use the cowboy shop that is Zavvi.

When I use Zavvi at least I dont get a month of spam email and they dont charge me 50 quid for a service I dont use.

But Amazon don't steal vouchers like Zavvi. :-D

It's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. lol

I wonder how many got fleeced by the amazon prime membership charge that they took without permission or the customer requesting it? worth checking if you use them a lot and seldom check charges made to you in detail. £47.97 just appearing on your credit card bill. Sneaky.

Did you accidentally click "free Amazon Prime trial" when buying an item and forget to cancel it?
The other way [of Amazon doing this] is people who've bought Amazon Prime once and not realising they need to manually deselect auto-renew.
Like you say; Sneaky!

Nothing sneaky about that.... all companies run "free trials" where the condition is if you don't cancel, they charge... and as for auto-renew, that happens all the time too. Think of mobile phone companies, sky, broadband companies, magazine subscriptions, newspapers.... that's just the way of the world. It might be sneaky, but no-one can complain that Amazon are being extra sneaky!

Thanks, voted hot

I don't like Zavvi after I received GTA IV on the 360 unwrapped, seal broken and damaged box today. Blatantly a second hand copy that had somehow gotten into the system.

It's going back as faulty needless to say, but their response so far has been rather dismissive to say the least.

That's my rant over.

I scanned my credit card statement for anything I didn't buy, I didn't look for charges from companies I use. I rarely use them or I wouldn't have noticed.

This was £39.98 in Asda 3 days back... might be worth calling to check.
