Teleportation. Mind control. Invisibility. Astral projection. Mutation. Reanimation. Phenomena that exist on the Fringe of science unleash their strange powers in this thrilling series, co-created by J.J. Abrams (Lost, Alias), combining the grit of the police procedural with the excitement of the unknown. The story revolves around three unlikely colleagues - a beautiful young FBI agent, a brilliant scientist who's spent the last 17 years in a mental institution and the scientist's sardonic son - who investigate a series of bizarre deaths and disasters known as 'the pattern'. Someone is using our world as an experimental lab. And all clues lead to Massive Dynamic, a shadowy global corporation that may be more powerful than any nation.

No, if you look on there website it shows the time to play.

Just catching the re runs on Sky 1 on a Thursday night (I'm guessing season 2 is coming very soon) as I didn't have Sky the first time round, superb series so far. Walter has some great one liners....

Great deal for a fantastic (best right now in my opinion) TV show.

Walter Bishop and his quotes are fantastic.

Amazing show, one of the best shows that has been around

Interesting, as I never rated lost!! I did enjoy this though, a couple of weak episodes (as there are in all series) but overall worth watching. Some episodes are worth watching twice, as there are a few things in the background that you don't catch the first time round...

Brilliant series if you ask me, well worth the money, but, then I have watched every episode twice already.

I don't know why but I hardly ever spot him, maybe I'll have to watch the episodes again. Olivia seems to have great trust in Walter. Would you allow someone who has been in a mental hospital for 17 years to drug you, put you into a tank of water, stick probes into you brain and connect you up to some unknown machine. No, me neither.

I'd disagree and you should follow it through as it picked up towards the end.

I think many TV shows were a victim of the fallout of the writer's strike at this time and had a LOT of 'filler' episodes (which unfortunately many US TV shows do anyway, due to their odd schedules).

This series had genuinely original and odd characters portrayed by pretty good actors without being cloyingly knowing about it (like Eureka). And yes, I know it's all silly....

*SPOILER*

I'll just say the series 1 finale involved the World Trade Centre twin towers....
