From J.J. Abrams (Lost), Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman - the team that brought you Star Trek, Mission Impossible: III and Alias - and executive producers Jeff Pinkner and Bryan Burk comes a new drama that will thrill, terrify and explore the blurring line between science fiction and reality.

When an international flight lands at Boston's Logan Airport and the passengers and crew have all died grisly deaths, FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham is called in to investigate. When the search nearly kills her partner, Special Agent John Scott, a desperate Olivia searches frantically for someone to help, leading her to Dr. Walter Bishop, our generation's Einstein. There's only one catch: He's been institutionalized for the last 20 years, and the only way to question him requires pulling his estranged son, Peter (Joshua Jackson), in to help. Under Special Agent Phillip Broyles, our trio will discover that what happened on that fatal flight is only a small piece of a larger, more shocking truth.

I love this show.

fantastic show. 100% recommend it to anyone. if you have not seen this show yet then buy it!!!

One of the best seasons I've seen for a long time.

heavily dissapointed.

something weird happens, turns out the scientist invented something similar years ago, fixes/finds cure.
repeat.
for the entire series!!!!

Anyone seen a good price of the BluRay version ??

Great show

Don't get suckered in by yet another pointless J.J. Abrams show.

Such a waste of your life. SKIP.

I love this show, one of the best things on Sky for years:thumbsup:

That's exactly it. It seemed promising back when the rumour mill was still spinning (new JJ Abrams show? Inspired by the x-files? Sold!) but it turns out it was pretty stale on arrival.

It also forced a mythology (strange symbols! conspiracy!) into the story telling which did not work - the mythology behind the x-files grew alongside the series, gaining depth and meaning as the years went on. You can't force something like that. Even Lost took its time building its universe.

As a side note, is anyone watching Flashforward? I watched the opening couple of episodes and it reminded me of Fringe for all the wrong reasons.

I never bothered to watch any Fringe.
I'd rather watch X-Files on DVD.

As for FlashForward, i'm watching that, it seems pretty good, kinda flawed in places but nothing I can't overlooked.

awesome series.
I was expecting it to be crap but was extremely surprised.

Agreed.

This is a good price and I've voted it hot accordingly, but the season itself is decidedly average.
