Unbelievably cheap for a phenomenal show, sure, it's not the complete collection, but the price difference is huge:

Amazon: £58.47
Play: £58.49
HMV: £59.99

Remember, this code is one use only, it's for first time orders and will not work more than once or if you have ordered from them in the past. If you want to, you could open another account and make this your first order.

Looks like they've used the DVD boxset price instead of the Blu-ray one.

Come on, this is a good deal. A lot of other stuff isn't much cheaper at all. £38.39 is a lot cheaper than almost £60 and lots of people have posted deals for Lord of the Rings, Star Wars etc. Gimme a break, man.

Was unable top order at that price.
If I Login first I get message "We're sorry you cannot use this voucher".

if I Add item and code to the basket the price drops until I hit "Send Order" then I get "Your order could not be created, the applied voucher is no longer valid and was removed. Please check the cart and click the "Send Order" button again."

That might be because you've ordered from them before. It has to be your first order to be able to get the 20% off voucher. But if you were to perhaps make a new account with an alternate e-mail like I did (9 times) then you'd be able to get it at £38.39!

I have ordered from them once in the past. If the voucher is only valid for first orders it might be helpful to put that in the description. Thanks.

the DVD price is £42 so perhaps that makes it less likely to be a misprice?

Ahahaah, this series turned out to be a complete dud. Don't waste 2p on it.

amazing price, amazing show. unfortunately i already have seasons 1 and 2 on blu ray, looking for a good deal for season 3 on its own

3rd series was disappointing, and game of thrones has completely took over my list of priorities.

excellent show a real improver!

4th season confirmed and rightly so, unique blend of science fiction/comedy/drama and of course the beautiful Anna Torv

Ive got season 1 on blu ray but for this price i can sell the first series.

I just hope they honour the price

Season 3 hasn't finished in the UK yet (still 5 episodes to go) and only finished a week ago in the States so I take it that either you didn't realise it was split - or your ISP ain't capping you

This is a great deal. The 3rd season was the best one yet! Easily the best show next to Game of Thrones.

Astrid looks hot in the final episode with the new hairstyle

Wtf are you talking about? Literally none of that made sense.

I NEVER watch US shows on UK channels. It takes far too long for them to be shown over here, and its utterly pointless due to the mass amounts of websites hosting uploaded shows from over there.

ISP caps? Unfortunately I dont sit in a council flat reaping benefits, so I can actually afford a better broadband package. Having a monthly allowance on your internet usage is just plain wrong.

Yep, I've watched all of Season 3 too. Some of it was a bit watered down, but it's still the best thing i've seen for yonks and the end of season is good. At least S4 is now signed up, allegedly...

JJ said in an interview on (I think) TV.com that he only needs 6 season to finish it, so we're getting there.

So, do I buy this (even though I've got S1 on br already) or wait for a 6 season box set !!!!

If you wanted to just buy Season 3 on it's own, with the voucher, it would be £28.79, or you could perhaps sell 1 and 2 through eBay or CEX, that's what I'm doing!
Edited by: "ThatRyanEllis" 17th May 2011

this is a very good price, when i pre-ordered season 1 and 2 it was 46 quid! then again the voucher obviously helps

Without the voucher it's £47.99, which is a great price in it's own right! I pre-ordered 1&2 blu-ray last year too for £46 and I thought, instead of getting Season 3 for £28.79, I thought I'd just get the 1-3 set and sell the other two, be it eBay or CEX or whatever. Should be able to get at least £20-£25 for it.

S4 was confirmed a couple of months before the finale I think (theres was a 4 week break between episodes at one point). This is why the ending to S3 was left so open.

just bought this box set and Paul triple play and walking dead on blu ray for £65 instead of £82

Hotdeals UK is killing my bank account. lol

just got to sell my season 1 fringe blu ray now

Been looking at this series for a while now, great price, so tempting... but can I afford to keep buying things lol

And now unavailable to order on the Sainsbury's site.

It states:
Available soon
Pre-Order Date: 01/01/2020 !

Have they spotted their mistake ?

Good deal if it works out. The transition from season 2 to 3 was the highlight for me.

Unfortunately, this suffers like so many US shows for not knowing how many seasons or episodes it's got to run. They alternate between filler and genuine plot. Throw loads of red herrings, etc.
I wish the US networks would change their daft ways and just commit to a certain number of seasons from the very start and leave it at that.
(see Jericho, FlashForward, Lost, etc etc for further examples)

I actually own outright a 4 bedroomed house so aren't sitting in a council house. If you can't wait 5 weeks post US showing you are extremely sad. Also can't stand people who think they are entitled to everything for nothing - that makes you the council house resident IMHO.

Back available for pre order now, but none of the discount code still work

Received today. Will sell Season 1 that I already had to CEX for £9.
