I may very well turn into a chocolate orange by the time this promotion ends.

well thats one of my 5 a day sorted
Chocolate orange paradox. Terry's chocolate = not the best maker of chocolate. Orange = the worst of confectionary flavours. Chocolate orange = the best chocolate known to mankind.

Shrinkflation used to be 175g

But I guess the 25p drop recovers some.

So have they done 157g on purpose: They used the same digits in different order to trick us? I mean 157g is a bit random isn’t it?
Is this specific or nationwide? If so, well, can I send Tesco the bill for my diabetes?
They're not Terry's! They're mine!

Should be nationwide and online as well!
Epic price for sure. Usually the cheapest it goes is £1 so it’s a decent saving.

They were reducednearly 3 years ago. 175g-157g is 10% or there abouts. Just coincidence.

They were doing the tubs for £3.50 last week. So plenty to get your teeth into till the 18th. That has already been posted.
Voted hot, but just Out of Curiosity where do you see it goes online for 75p on the 18th coz it doesn’t say so just yet on the website?

Still, good news about the chocolate oranges
Anybody know if they still do a white chocolate version and if tubs of Segsations still exist?....
Are they at the one stop too ?
@myusernamehasgone234

wow an actual chocolate orange deal that is actually a deal rather than the usual supermarket matching Poundland, home bargains and B&Ms.

lets hope it’s confirmed or there will be some very annoyed hot dealers @magicjay1986

I don’t think you should joke around about diabetes

“the prognosis for those with type 2 diabetes is much worse than for those with HIV,”

I don’t think people would joke around about other chronic conditions like HIV

A record 169 people a week are having to undergo an amputation procedure as a result of diabetes, a study has found.

Analysis by the charity Diabetes UK found that 26,378 people had lower limb amputations linked to diabetes between 2014 and 2017, a 19.4% rise from 2010 to 2013.

10% less. Same story everywhere, inflation through the back door.

I was wondering yesterday, why the price in my Tesco was £2. Now I know it’s just to say how much allegedly they drop the price down. Pathetic practice
Been 157g for a few years now.
another link broken by hukd for those using chrome because of adtracking link, here's the proper link, just put it all back in one line!

hahaha yeah sure, a coincidence the size changed from from 175g to 157g - lol - you know they said in that meeting " the stupid idiots won't ever notice" - all these sweet manufacturers are the same, they say they reduce the size instead of increasing the price and maintaining the size as that's what customer's want. I've never been consulted on any resizing of chocolate and I'd happily pay more to maintain the size. They all know we end up eating two items instead of one!

I used to like these but am sure it's much greasier chocolate (or vegelate) in the last couple of decades.

Can get them cheaper if they have superficial damage. Always buy in bulk for Valentine’s Day.
I think the biggest chocolate crime are peanut m&ms normal bags used to be 250g now they are 125g. The large sharing bags used to be 360g then reduced to 250g but slightly increased to 268g now.

Whilst bounty bars are still 57g they have reduced the amount of chocolate on them and increased the coconut.
