Nice. Giving out so many free games is a good incentive to use the Epic Games store. It’s a great move on their part. The JackBox Party Pack is great fun, as long as you have other people to play it with. You can also play it with people in different parts of the world, as long as they can see what is happening on-screen. (Like via streaming)

I wonder how long they will keep giving out free games...:/

Epic Games made 3 Billion in profit last year, they can carry on doing this as long as it takes to get market share for their game store.
The Xbox version was reduced to £17.50 over Christmas and I was tempted to pick them up then - glad I waited!
Heat added - thanks for sharing!
For anyone who doesn't have this GET THESE GAMES

They are such good party games, especially after a few drinks

Am I missing something, what platform is this for, is it all? I have Fibbage on my firestick which was fun but questions quickly repeated so stopped playing that. Got a Switch for Xmas, so will it be free on that? Sorry if I'm being thick, cheers.

True. However, Sony and Microsoft make a lot more yet they never give out free stuff.

It's for the PC via the newly released Epic game store, similar to steam/uPlay/GoG/Origin if you have heard of those

Actually Microsoft give away free stuff all the time (visit their market place (Microsoft Store) and select the filter for free software, there are currently 1000 free titles to choose from!)... Microsoft also have a free reward scheme - the points can be converted to Microsoft gift cards, Xbox live accounts and the like or donated to charities. I am not a Microsoft fanboi, I am not aware of similar schemes with Sony... (they did give free software as way of compensation when there was a huge DDoS attack on their servers - there are currently no freebies on their store.)

I do wonder if Epic will eventually support Linux with their launcher and actually implement Proton (it's open source, no reason not to use it) in a similar way to how Steam does. It's why I've been installing these freebies on my Windows partition, but not bothering to play them (I don't like booting into Windows for games - almost all the games I have run on Linux). Yes, I guess I could mess with Wine/Play on Linux/Lutris etc., but it would be much better if Epic supported Linux out of the box.

Of course, Epic would have to implement the "buy game, play it on any supported platform without having to buy it again" model that Steam uses too. Note here: Jackbox Party Pack is actually available natively for Linux, so even less of an excuse for Epic not to support Linux in their launcher :-)

This is pc
I assume once I "purchase" it from tomorrow, it's free forever? Not just free to play during the promotion period?
