If you like to plan well in advance for your holiday then check out this November trip to Last Vegas. To get great value flights, you will be flying from Dublin which means I've included in this price flights to Dublin and a 2 night stay in Dublin. A few pints of Guinness is a great start to this trip in my opinion! I've planned this trip using flights from Bristol but as Dublin is an easy to get to city with a range of low budget airlines you could adjust this deal to suit.

The flights are longer than normal, but the price is good. I also find when flying from Ireland for USA it is quicker with immigration etc. The flights from Dublin also means for people that are closer to regional airports you can connect to Dublin and combine it with a city break.

In USA I'm not going to lie, you can get much cheaper hotels then the Mandarin and NY NY (the Mandarin is a fantastic rate and strangely cheap when other nights are in excess of £300 a night!) but I've picked hotels right in heart of the Strip. Similarly in the Grand Canyon area, you can find cheaper but I've picked a lovely hotel right at the entrance to the South Rim for great sunset and sunrise views. Cheaper lodges are available.

30 October to 1 November

Flying from Bristol you'll arrive into Dublin and stay for 2 nights at the Maple Hotel. This is a budget hotel in the heart of Dublin complete with bar on site. Walking distance to most attractions it's exactly where you want to be for a city break.

1-2 November

On 1 November you'll fly to Las Vegas. Flights have 2 very short stops but when arriving in Vegas you'll stay at the 5* Mandarin Odiental hotel for the night. Ideal to recharge your batteries.

2-4 November
On 2 November you'll pick up your hire car from Treasure Island hotel and drive to the Grand Canyon, you can stop at Hoover Dam and Lake Meade too. You can do day trips but if heading to the South Rim it can be a long day and I would really recommend staying a couple of nights to really enjoy the surrounding areas. I've based you at the Best Western which is near to the South Rim and has great reviews, although there are cheaper I think this represents great value.

4-7th November
Returning to Vegas you'll drop your hire car back on 4th at Treasure Island and then head to the 4* New York, New York where you will spend another 3 nights.

You'll leave Vegas on 7th and arrive back into Dublin on 8th where you'll connect back to Bristol with Ryanair.

Nice trip. It's worth checking out the Hard Rock Hotel. It's off the strip but it's a great hotel

Cold Stayed 8 nights inHard Rock November past flights from Edinburgh JFK Vegas and all for 508

Hired a convertible mustang 2 days for £80 drove to skywalk, hoover dam and lake mead national park for a swim all in one day

Been in Vegas and Florida 4 times in last 2 year and had no issue or long wait at immigration

For Grand Canyon (Tusayan) I'd recommend The Red Feather Lodge.
Same location as the Squire Inn.

That was a lot cheaper too, I just read reviews and decided against using it in this deal but it's always good to hear from someone who has stayed there.

Sorry but I don't see this as a good deal or well thought out. If you're going to the Grand Canyon why waste 2 nights in Dublin ? which isn't cheap. You then have to be at the airport for 6am so you'll need a taxi from Dublin to the airport, hope it turns up at that time in the morning.
Then it's 18+ hours to get to Vegas ? hardly short stops, it's nearly 8 hours longer than a direct flight and 4 hours longer than a single stop flight. Then you have to get from The Mandarin to Treasure Island to pick up your car after checking out, which will be a couple of hours before you even begin to leave Vegas.
Grand Canyon is in a different time zone to Vegas so you've now lost lost 3 hours of less than 9 hours of daylight. Then you've only booked 2 days car hire when you need 3 days because you're staying near Grand Canyon for 2 nights so won't be back in time and don't forget the $30 dollar entrance fee to get to the south rim of the canyon or your warm clothes because November has a high of around 12 centigrade. It's not an itinary I would do.

Agreed , this seems a bit of a milk run, and spend your time worrying about connections, good effort though.

If you agree with the comments then why the lol ?

I didn't say it was difficult, it's just time consuming. TIME you haven't really got with this schedule unless you believe that you can check out/have breakfast/get to treasure island (minimum 40 minute walk) /get your rental car and leave Vegas in under 2 hours. In which case I'll be doing the lol

I wouldn't walk either, I'd be getting a taxi

Good effort on the deal. I've done a similar flight itinerary before from Bristol to Vegas last year but the stops are too much for me.

The price for Mandarin Oriental is really cheap, but I wonder whether it would be better to stay at TI since resort fees are optional (or at least they were last year) and you'll lose the enjoyment of Mandarin to sleep anyway. There are also some good cheap eats in and near TI.

The flight I had last year on the way back was Vegas - Gatwick - Dublin - Bristol. It was approx 4 hr wait each at Gatwick and Dublin (+ re-collect luggage) because if I recall the Ryanair flight you'll want to BRS is around 7-8pm. This is really draining so I can only recommend this to those who have done these kind of stops before.
