This is a great bargain for 4 people (adults, adults with teenagers - children are much more) for Christmas in Tenerife. I know people are going to say it's not in the South, etc, etc, but for this price I can't get cheaper anywhere else and even flights with luggage are well over £100pp without transfers or luggage.

The hotel details can be found here.

The dates are 19-26th December and at checkout you will need to use code WINTER

It's hardly in the north. 30 mins max in a car from PDLA with very similar weather. In fact, Puerto de Santiago has slightly more sunshine each year. We have spent the last 2 summer hols in Los Gigantes which is joined to Puerto de Santiago. Seriously tempted!

That's great reviews weather, I know sometimes people prefer PDLA.

stayed in this hotel last year and although basic thats not bad at all price for tenerife

Close to a Lidl which is a 10 minute walk at the top of a hill as well and some half decent places to eat round about ,

Tempted myself actually

Waiting for similar deal from south of england / london

Great deal as Tenerife normally stupidly expensive at Christmas. Like already said, I still count Puerto Santiago as south in that it's the correct side of Mt Teide and so unlike Puerto de La Cruz it doesn't spend most of the time under a haze of cloud and mist

As the hotel also offer all inclusive, it could be worth checking with the hotel how much they would charge locally to upgrade when you get there

I did a search earlier on all inc and it was about £1200 more expensive for family of 4.

Looking at this tripadvisor review it's 125 euro to upgrade

I am assuming that's for the week because there is also a comment stating "only cleaned/sheets changed a few times through the week but fresh towels every day. "

What time did you go last year? What month?

How is it there at X-mas time in terms of weather?

Thanks

We were there last year the same time. Weather was beginning to get a bit chilly. Needed a jumper during late afternoons and evenings. North was colder than south. There were sunny spells during the day and it was windy.
