very dangerous to say refugees are causing all terror incidents. if you did your research you would realise that most of the terror incidents are caused by those born in said country.

this is a discussion for another time, however.

Did I say refugees were responsible then?

Nope I didn't, I said it was 'religious' nutjobs but it's worth putting it out there that these refugees you speak of so glowingly only appear interested in reaching countries that have stronger economies and a sizeable community of their own ethnic/religious background.

So the fact Central/Eastern European countries don't possess either of these two essentials on your prospective refugee's tick list would appear to keep them safer than your average affluent diverse western country wouldn't it?

I'm not really up for this debate either but it's blatantly obvious what Thoughtful was saying yet you chose to snap at him two wrongs don't make a right n all that

it wasn't meant for you, it was for the original comment stating Poland is therefore safer due to the reasons stated, implying refugees are therefore to blame. hence my comment saying thats a dangerous statement as it is both factually incorrect and borderline discriminatory.

It wasn't meant for me yet you quoted my post, erm ok

yes the civil war in serbia, croatia etc.. based around religion simply never happened, you couldn't be killed for simply being the opposite religion to your neighbour. And terrorists had nothing on the brutality carried out in that war.
Those religious tensions began before the 2nd world war, there is a reason for peacekeepers.

hard to quote multiple people on the android app, and to be fair you did imply that lack of refugees means fewer terror incidents so the same can be said for your comment

again, not really a discussion for this thread - dont want to ruin the OP's deal which is actually good
Great deal seems like I should of waited 2 months. I booked a Christmas break for my parents for Prague in the 2nd week of December for 3 nights as a wedding anniversary gift. £99 per person. Still not a bad deal I got though and Prague does look pretty nice.
Its a long train, lived in warsaw for awhile and travelled to Krakow. Is very cold that time of year, make sure you wrap up. Both lovely cities though.
I've never been to Warsaw or Krakow, however those who have been have said to go so exploring options and this option looks good :). Any idea how far the markets are from the hotels?
Fantastic prices.

I first visited Poland two years ago and I've now been six times - to both Kraków and Warsaw. My favourite by a mile is Warsaw.

If you haven't been to Poland before, book up! You won't be disappointed. Plenty to do in both cities, a fascinating history (if that's your thing) and even with our weak pound, your money will go a long way too.
Personally, i would rather go to Gdansk though, its amazing there and can travel to and from the tri cities very easily.

Why do you believe "they" hate us? Surely 99.9% are seeking refuge due to war and terror in their countries. Yes there are some who spoil it for the rest but majority just want a safer and better life. I'm fed up of people trying to paint refugees as enemies. If only the tables were turned people like yourself would understand.
Great deal OP - fantastic cities, but as others have said, make sure you wrap up warm... It can get absolutely bitter in December!
flights between warsaw and krakow are very resonable, i've booked a little break to poland in december and am flying between krakow and warsaw for £24 return.

I totally understand, my old man was a refugee from socialist oppression in the 1960's.....funnily enough I don't recall one single iron curtain refugee partaking in anti western terrorism, can the same be said about the current crop of refugees with their totally different values and religious beliefs? Erm no, because even you just spoke about those who spoil it for the rest yourself, I'm sorry but talking about the tables were turned is very weak because some of this mob come from a religiously bigoted culture than don't even allow westerners to drive on their motorways due to not being of the same faith.

I'm fed up with people trying to paint enemies as friends and yeah I do appreciate they're not all enemies but they definitely ain't all friends either

Religion? Second world war? Best do a bit more homework on Balkan ethnic tensions spanning centuries, tensions that are far deeper than scripture arguments between Byzantine and Roman churches.

The only terrorists in the various wars that took place during the break up of plastic Yugoslavia were mujahideen Arab fighters backing up Bosniaks, just goes to prove Serbia started the war on terror long before George W declared it eh
This is great thank you. Can you confirm which Krakow Ibis that is please?
I've had to do a bit of swapping for this to make it work over a weekend. Its slightly more expensive so its worth noting that the same hotels were slightly cheaper on booking.com
