Oh wow this looks soooo good! This is a trip and a half and with three weeks you'll experience Las Vegas, Australia and a road trip with RV from San Francisco to Los Angeles!

9-12 June
Fly from the UK to Las Vegas where you'll spend 3 nights in the MGM Grand, enough time to enjoy Vegas (you won't leave until late on the 12th so you have the full day).

12 June (Sydney 14-21 June)
Fly to Sydney (time differences mean you won't arrive until 2 days later). 7 nights in Sydney gives you ample time to explore. You will stay at the 4* Boutique Bayswater hotel for 7 nights and it is right near the station so no need for a car unless you want to head our further afield but you can easily explore the Blue Mountains, Bondi etc all using public transport.

21-29 June
You will fly from Sydney to San Francisco. You fly out of LA on 29th and I was looking at hotels but the cost is ao expensive! Instead hire an RV, there are campers cheaper but you have cooking and bathroom facilities in the RV. You most certainly will head to Yosemite but I'd strongly recommended making reservations NOW for sites rather than just turning up as it may be very busy.

On 29 June you'll fly back to London. Make sure you register for frequent flyer points as you'll be sure to acrue a fair few and can put these towards another trip.

Yep, but that would be the same as if you did it in three individual trips or this one trip.
great deal, worth mentioning theres loads of possibilities with an RV

But this isn't posted as 3 individual trips is it ? it's realistically a 17 day holiday with over 3 days of traveling on top, I checked the flights and although they are cheap you might have mentioned that because each flight is indirect it makes the journey a marathon and a real DVT threat for some people.

18 nights. You aren't doing all the travelling in one go! I've flown for longer going from the UK to Oz then on to NZ. It's not for everyone but I know some people have time constraints.
7 nights in Australia is criminal, a beautiful country with so much to explore.

As I said it's realistically a 17 day holiday, you can technically say 18 nights but when you look at the flight timings and lengths most people are going to be dog tired after each leg and will need to rest. for example the 21hr total journey from vegas to Sydney lands at 7am and the hotel check in is from 2pm, and you checked out of your vegas hotel 26hrs before that. Flights for the same dates with BA are £692 and are shorter overall and the LAX to LHR is direct but these are still not good flights. These trips look good on the surface but the reality is completely different.
The mandatory charges and the insurance (CDW, SLI) for the RV also double the rental cost.

Heat just forward the effort
Lovely holiday. Heat
Never take out the cdw with the car company use ones like insurance 4 motor homes or similar!! I've done this for my Iceland holiday. I know it's not a holiday that won't appeal for everyone.
how do you find this stuff? this would be a dream. If only i could get that much time off work. Heat
How do you plan on enjoying LA or SF based out of an RV?

Stayed at MGM Grand 6 years ago. Great hotel with great service. They had real lions in a huge glass box.

They gave us $100 free to use in their casino, free meals, vip passes to pool party and night club...all at their hotel. Amazing time with mates.
I hope the lions have now gone, it really upset me! Having seen them a few months earlier in Africa in their natural habitat with Kilimanjaro in the background I can honestly say a glass box in a casino/hotel is not where they belong! Just my opinion......
