This contemporary hotel lines up a city-centre location, a private patch of Marmaris Beach, and great pool and dining scenes.

The Blue Bay Platinum is set in the centre of Marmaris, with shops and bars on the doorstep. The harbour and old town are a few minutes’ drive away, and you’ve got a private section of next-door Marmaris Beach.

The hotel’s not long had a full makeover, so everything’s really contemporary – especially the bedrooms, with their blonde-wood furniture, beach-scene wall murals and aqua accents.
Community Updates
April sees temperatures begin to warm up as spring arrives in Marmaris. Daytime temperatures now reach a pleasant high of 21°C but can still fall to around 10°C in the evening

Sounds OK.
I'd normally stay neutral and not vote if something isn't clearly hot or cold (in my opinion) but just knowing the kind of cold votes this is going to get from clueless numpties just because its in Turkey, I'm going to vote hot to do my bit to counter.

Looks lovely but passports finish in September

Everyones? Oh no!
Don't forget to get a visa from the legitimate Turkey government website for $20 and not a rip off one that charges you for their services.
Saw it too, also 2 adults and 2 children from Manchester for £920 all incl

Oh heck, this could go cold Turkey...
Decent price, nice hotel

Nice if you want to sit around in 16c
I think we stayed here or next to it (over 5 years ago), last minute impulse deal (wonder where that idea comes from?) as there are a few hotels called Blue bay and they may have been merged into one. It was Ok and good value for money.

April will be cool - a lot of places will only just be opening and getting ready for the season - this hotel is a 'block' back from the beech which was a waste lot when we there - so just scrub land,

Depending on your point of view it's at the edge of the town so quieter but a good long walk into Marmaris itself - a pleasant 30m stroll along the front. When we were there the bars round the hotel were £5 a pint so didn't drink out much.
I guess it will be off season there? some places might be closed and the weathers not going to be hot. when the best time to go to Turkey as I wouldn't mind going, but prefer hotter weather and more people about.

Two months later at the same price I'd go, but early April will be quiet and the temps cool. Things start hotting up late May usually and you could hit the 30s by then, just how I like it.

Early June is perfect weather in my opinion. July and August can see forty degrees which I feel is a bit unpleasant.
Turkish delight
Lovely hotel would love to stay heat for the price

I stayed here a few years ago for 3 nights. Our room looked nothing like the pictures, it was basic and very small. There is no way this place is 5 star, I would say 3. The place was frenetic as everything is squashed in to a small area with people and kids screaming everywhere. As someone else said it is not seafront, it’s a block back across some derelict land on a busy main road. Having said that, if you’re after a cheapo break, this is still a good a deal. The food and booze was OK and there are plenty of pools and things to do.

What month did you go?

What month did you go?

It was actually towards the end of May. Warm enough for me and Mrs to be happy, but not scorching.

We quite liked the fact the hotel was relatively quiet as well, seemed to get a bit more attention from the staff and never needed to wait for anything haha.
Cold until may

It’s a 4* not a 5* that’s a good price for all inclusive.

Why are you quoting Dollars?
Was around £10 more from Birmingham £580 for 2 adults cheaper than staying home
Link is showing £445.99pp
How do you go about booking this? I can't see any options apart from photos of the hotel
