This looks a lovely March break to Slovenia. Weather will be warmer and with Spring the pictures of Lake Bled look lovely. I've never been and if I wasn't moving house it's one trip I'd like to do but I'm on a holiday ban

22-23 March
You have early morning flights with Wizzair so will arrive into Ljubljana early giving you a full day to explore. You will overnight at Rooms Anbrozic which are centrally located and have great reviews.

23-24 March
You will catch the bus to Bled which takes around an hour and half. Buses are very frequent and you can book tickets in advance (see below). In Bled you will stay close to the lake and castle at Rooms Koxkjancic which have excellent reviews.

24-25 March
You will catch the bus back to Ljubljana, again you can pick which bus suits and then you will stay in Ljubljana for a final night, returning to the same accommodation you stayed in on your arrival. On 25 March your flight doesn't leave until 11pm so you have plenty of time to make the most of Ljubljana before leaving.

Lovely place. Highly recommend llubijana. Well worth a visit. Green city. Lake bled is beautiful. About an hour away by bus. Amazing.
Beautiful country but I'd be heading into the mountains if I went there for a few days.
Lake Bled is very beautiful indeed, although it is a place I think you would appreciate best in the snow.
llubijana is a dump but lake Bled is one of the most beautiful places we have visited,

As suggested take the bus, don't go on a escorted tour unless you want to get ripped off,

Not worth the money to visit the Island we was there 10 years ago and they wanted 15 euros for 2 of us I think.

Take your time to walk round the lake, Walk in a anti clock direction, half way round the lake there is a supermarket,
stop there for lunch and a drink and look at the views of the Julian mountains, I kid you not the views are simply simply stunning.
After walking round the lake head for the castle where you will see the lake from high up and take beautiful photos.
Dump??? Oh please!!! You chat s**t

Agreed. I was in Ljubljana last year and its very nice, from from being a dump. In fact I'm there again next month. The people are very friendly.
I found Lake Bohinj more beautiful than lake Bled just amazing.
