If you've ever fancied Vegas and New York in one trip, this may be right up your street and makes good use of the bank holiday on 7th May too

Flights are from Manchester and direct with Thomas Cook, including hand luggage, 23kg hold luggage and meal. For the internal flight from New York to Vegas I've included hold luggage too.

For this deal I've picked centrally located hotels that come highly rated. There are options to reduce the cost, for example shared bathrooms and in New York you can stay at Long Island or further out but for convenience given the short amount of time I've picked a hotel a little more expensive - the Wolcot which has good reviews too.

In Vegas you can stay off strip or in Fremont which reduces the cost more. For comparison, similar priced hotels were Luxor and Excalibur if the Tropicana Hilton Doubletree does not suit. Comparing the reviews for all three I'd say the Tropiciana fares a little better but I know Vegas hotels seem to divide opinion on what is good and not so good. For a cheaper option there is also Hooters.

5-10 May
You'll fly to New York and stay at the Wolcott Hotel.

Transfers additional cost. Both can be done cheaply using public transport in Vegas and New York, alternatives taxis a more expensive option.

Unfortunately, it's also dream amounts of spare money.

You can get a fortnight in July for £300-350 more
very good price, would switch to a more central hotel, maybe Linq or Monte Carlo/park as they are fairly cheap.

Went once in July and never again, so hot you're sweating in the pool! April,May or Sept
