A large 1.7L capacity

I'm so relieved that it's not a small 1.7L capacity.
I just bought the kettle but have decided to cancel and buy this instead;

amazon.co.uk/gp/…_12

I would strongly suggest reading the reviews about the kettle. Also the RRp is inflated and Amazon are selling the kettle for the same price.

Its not the same price on Amazon as postage is not free nor can you c&c. Both stores are selling on behalf of Hughes.

The Aicok kettle is less wattage and is made in China, lots of bad reviews on that where it has gone faulty.

I have a keep warm kettle with multiple temps, cool wall and stainless interior.

I bought from Asda with a 2 year warranty about a month ago.

Confuses guests and I don't really use the extra functions.

If it goes faulty outside of warranty, it only cost me just over £12.

The German reviews on the AEG probably more indicative than the UK ones.

There's a fair amount of poor reviews about how hot the kettle gets and how noisy but what do they expect from a single wall stainless kettle!

Nobody saying the product has gone faulty and AEG give a 3 year warranty in Germany so worth checking what the warranty is here.
same price on amazon and bad reviews.

For a balanced review of the Aicok I think you need ot read the 3-4 star reviews. Their CS seems to be good though. Note this review:

"Lot of reviewers here seem to have reviewed a load of products in the period immediately before reviewing this one ..... and then given this 5 stars .....just saying....... draw your own conclusions"

Leave a reply
Those 5 star reviews are mainly fake, Amazon is awash with new Chinese brands giving vouchers that allow people to purchase their tat free or very cheaply in exchange for a glowing 5-star review. Brands like Aicok and MPow are among the worst, but there are hundreds of others. If you start checking suspect profiles you'll soon start seeing repeating names and patterns. It's all very irksome, but ultimately seems you're best playing safe and sticking to well-known older brands until Amazon decide to properly enforce the ban they brought in against such reviews last November.

Thank you for posting this and creating awareness. Every person who is listed as reviewing this item has reviewed several other items and they are all 5 star reviews. I wonder if they are paid or compensated for reviews, or if it really is the quality they have all said. Thanks again!
