Surprised to see such positive feedback at this price point. Would have been nice if they included two batteries in their charger kit. Voted hot.
3ah batteries available from kompernass.com.

Searched a few of the west York's leaflets, it's showing the grinder.
Put Glasgow, it's showing impact.
If anyone sees impact driver in West York's/Yorkshire leaflet can you let me know which shop.
I want to buy a couple more.

Ah cheers, will check
Put in my local store (Stafford) and we get neither, just the sabre saw and charger!
I'd recommend the driver bits also, I've been using them for a 1.5 years and only just started to show signs of wear.
Bloody love mine. Putting in loft legs and loft boards it was a god send. 1 battery is fine for me.
These impact drivers are great for the money. I understand that you get what you pay for and I use Bosch Professional tools in work but for most diy jobs then these are fine.

That battery looks a lot like the Worx 20v batteries..
Anyone able to comment? I've got a couple of Worx tools, and that saw looks nice
Funny, in London (Clapham), none of these are in the Lidl flyer... just some accessories for the 'Multi-grinder' on the previous page.

Having previously bought the impact driver, it is very good for the money.

Me too. All these different batteries across the brands are a pain in the rear but I do know that the Worx ones are compatible with Guild (Argos and, previously, Homebase own brand), at least two of the brands at Screwfix (Titan and Erbauer) and I believe Wickes own brand too.

Ignore the 20v/18v descriptions - they are the same.

Here's the Erbauer battery at a very good price - doesn't look compatible with Parkside unfortunately:

So looks as if around the Southampton/Portsmouth area we are only getting the sabre saw and angle grinder. Whereas Swansea is only getting the sabre saw.

Shame really want an impact driver now.
As Shadey has said above, additional/replacement batteries can be bought from kompernass.com/ind…485 - 2AH for c. £18 and 3AH for c. £22.50 (although currently o.o.s) delivered.

The advert does not say what size the battery is with the charger for £16.99 - I guess 1.3AH??

It has been the previous inability of sourcing replacement batteries that has prevented me buying Parkside power tools - thinking about getting one of these now!
Does anyone know whether this 20v battery is compatible with the Aldi Workzone 20v Battery as found with their orbital sander? I can't for the life of me find a 2nd battery for the one I've just bought and pretty useless with one battery. Looking at the design, they look so alike

Surely aldi will get their 20v tools back in? Only help I can be is if you give measurements of all the fitting points I can check against one of mine?

The battery & charger are instore every few months, you can buy online from Germany, and get bigger batteries too. all the details are in the discussion I linked to. These are great quality diy tools, no Idea how they compare to pro quality, but some will buy two at a time and use for work till destruction and get refund.

Perhaps if people were to call Lidl head office and ask they could maybe pay over phone and get one delivered with the normal store stock, there's 10 days for them to organise that, It's worth an ask.
Sorry the availability is so different, I had no idea.

Thanks - so slightly cheaper to buy the battery (and get a charger as well) at Lidl rather than online from Germany (no surprise I guess).

In the app can only find 4th to the 10th. On the leaflet section. And on the homepage off the app can see non food offers that are bathroom and car essential. And kids fashion. What I wanted to find out if my store was going to be stocking the angle grinder. As it seems that is the way is to see via the leaflet as the above convo seems to say. Or am I missing something totally?

I can't say for sure, the leaflet has a man under a car bonnet as it's cover, to advertise the car battery charger

Right, just checked for you, the app only has one leaflet. You need to use a browser to see the other.

Go on a browser, to Lidl website then choose your store, then click on online leaflets link. Then you'll see it

Good job it has a 3 year warranty then.

I have 2, have used them hard, no issues. Also have the grinder, sabre saw and drill, find all of them great for home use.
