a mud guard is a mud guard the fixings look good and available in red and blue which is a bonus compared to the usual black or black!

Bought a set of these for my lads bike (he's 5) and they are quite flimsy compared to dearer flaps, hes managed to break front and rear ones now, but I just went and bought another set, for the money they're ok

there ok just get a new clamp for the back not half bad just a bit small, ended up buying so £30 ones

those mud guards are quite good considering how cheap they are! I searched a lot of poundland but the ones near me are all out of stock! where do you get them?

Got these a few months ago they literally lasted a month before the fixings snapped. These are dangerous if it snaps off like mine did and gets interferes with the wheel

Mudguards are for wusses.

Of course there are those for whom getting cold water sprayed up their crack is not such a turn on...

I'm with newskiller, I don't find that a line of dirt up my back is a fetching look when all I want is to get to work as dry and as clean as I can. But for mudslingers then I'm all for that look.
