Getting unlimited data if you’re a frontline NHS worker

What you get and how you get it.

SMARTY is giving unlimited data to all NHS frontline workers who have identified themselves as a customer through the triage process set up by their NHS organisation.

If you are eligible:

The Unlimited data add-on will be put into your account at no extra cost and will remain there until further notice. We'll send you a text when this has been actioned.

All SMARTY plans also come with unlimited calls and texts as standard.

If you’re on one of our Data Discount plans and are using less than your original data allowance, don’t worry, you’ll still get money back for any unused data.

You can find out more about the NHS process, eligibility and instructions to register here.

If you have any questions about the above, please get in touch with us through webchat. You’ll find the icon in the bottom right of your screen on the SMARTY website when logged in

We get 3mbps on Smarty, against 45 with Virgin, it’s enough for the needs of that phone but won’t be for everyone.

dont forget voxi is currently free unlimited data for everyone.
Switched to Smarty as found a good deal. Left within the month as didn’t get a 3G signal outside. I was lucky if I had signal to make/receive a call.
TBF I live in Dorset on the south coast but still!
Just tread carefully before signing up to this one
I had to leave smarty due to poor call quality when making and received calls other than that data speed and signal was excellent for for I live

Actually VOXI data isn't unlimited for some people anymore. For some people it is but it's counting down for some people now

My daughter has a smarty unlimited sim for her flat and is very happy with the quality of Netflix etc using it.

Not able to test the speeds, but know well that the young uns soon speak up if the data isn't fast or reliable enough.

Yes it all depends on area, but to be honest majority of areas this network sucks. Its been many years and i do not see them doing any major improvements. Still on 1mb download speeds .
The last thing NHS staff need is more stress from an awful network

isn't that just unlimited social media data?

No they haven’t been able to track data usage since August last year so everyone is on free data. Just look at any of the voxi threads on here .
Great deal. Been on Three network since 2011, no problems here, fast and reliable.
Only network to offer free 5G with no throttle back as well.

Signal for me is terrible. I'm stuck between this and Plusnet wifi. Will change from both when they're up. 1 year left with these guys and 5 months with Plusnet broadband

Yep depends on area, Three isn't the best everywhere but it's good where I am most of the time
Not heard of smarty before. Seems to be a lot of mobile data deals for NHS. Good one Smarty.

Unlimited for £10 not free, and it's in 2 days (not tomorrow) but still 11th June 2020. Was a good run whilst it lasted

Yes, VOXI have stated that their plans are no longer unlimited and your data will be counted. They sent a message to confirm this.

Amazing what happens in the time you post on here.
Funny that both Smarty and ID mobile (both runs on Three) are doing this for NHS staff but not Three themselves (which is my mobile provider )
