I like lazy

I would say 'how hard is it to chop an onion' but at that price who needs to

Not in my local, brought tears to my eyes. Maybe store specific as already pointed out. Heat.

Hot because it's cheaper than buying an onion and chopping it.

However, I still think a little bit of me would die inside if I got to the stage in life that I bought pre-chopped onions.

Only a quid normal price in Asda, along with other chopped frozen veg too, I think.

10p for chopped onions is nothing to cry about.

Buy some ready-grated cheese, sliced bread and make a cheese and onion toastie to cheer yourself up. Use a sandwich maker, of course. Faffing about with the grill - what am I - Jamie Olivers!

10p... Enough to bring a tear to your eye

Frozen onions !
Next thing you know they'll be freezing carrots

Ah Sheringham, a lovely place

actually a great idea.

My wife froze my carrots pretty much 3 months after the documents were signed and carrot Jnr was on the way.

The onion puns on this thread are terrible, they bring tears to my eyes.

Facepalm

Heat given .
For the Judgemental people out there some people don't chop their own because they have a disability and can't .
Could also be people don't have storage space but have a freezer , like myself .
Also, they are fresher than supposed fresh onions as they are frozen with hours of being picked.

I always chop onions and freeze them as I always buy the discounted ones, and I use a lot of onions in various recipes and my cheese and onion sandwiches, pasties and rissoles, just love cheese and onion.
