Must resist....I'm going to burry my head in the sand until this deal has expired.
The meat is very lean, and its red like beef. Lovely barbecued
Wanna try but a bit expensive for 400g. Call me tight lol. Charlie

Are they selling drumsticks?
Tried these once before - they were fowl.
Tried an ostrich burger once at a farmers market and it was horrid, didn't think I'd ever try ostrich again but may well try these steaks and see if they are any better.

that is actually a myth - they dont bury their heads in sand...
Nice to see a new meat on the table because I'm fed up with chicken, beef, lamb, pork and venison all the time.

I thought that humans taste like pork that's why the cannibals would refer to humans as long pigs

no you are thinking of a daddy-long-leg spider
£13.70 /kg for frozen meat of any sort isn't my idea of a good value.

But, it's, it's...ostrich and surely (maybe) worth the premium!

I am permanently stuck on a low carb diet, to control Insulin resistance and reactive hypoglycaemia, and believe me, eat enough meat and it begins to be all the same, after a while, it soon becomes more important what you flavour it with than what's under the flavour! :-(

Well flavoured cheap cuts, long slow cooked with lots of other things soon begin to tempt much more than flash-cooked tender meats that all taste of very little!

I first had ostrich in Dubai about 12 years ago and have also got it from Aldi for about the same price as this. It's all right but it's a bit like a nondescript tasting version of beef.
