Well, if the grey slimy mould comes out of the lab, it doesn't have any taste at all, neither any nutritional value.
Maybe if you add chicken, it will taste more like chicken

It is quite nice thrown in a slow cooker infused with lots of nice spices.

i am eating Quorn products for a few years now and i like them very much. You have to add spices etc the same as what you do for the other meat products. this is a good price, thanks.

Just like Soylent Red

During the growth phase, glucose is added as a food for the fungus, as are various vitamins and minerals (to improve the food value of the resulting product). The resulting mycoprotein is then extracted and heat-treated to remove excess levels of RNA.

Yummie!

here's some nutrition for you.

Offal is very nearly a whole class of food in itself, encompassing everything from the heart, liver, lungs, and entrails of an animal, to the tail, feet, and head, each part with its own unique and yes, delicious, flavors. The word “offal” actually comes from the Old English “off” and “fall,” referring to the pieces that fall from an animal carcass during butchering. Various dictionaries refer to offal as “refuse” or “rubbish” or “waste parts,” when in fact they have much to offer nutritionally and gustatorially.

Note to self, must start eating meat again after 20 years without. Yummier than yummie :-D
