Morrisons have just reduced all their frozen Turkeys and Turkey Crowns by 25% or more - while stocks last.

Frozen Basted Turkey Small Min 2.6kg £9.00
Frozen Basted Turkey Med Min 3.9kg £12.00
Frozen Basted Turkey Large Min 5.3kg £15.00
There was also an Extra Large size in store, but not showing up online.

Frozen Turkey Breast Crown Min 1.5kg £10.00
Frozen Turkey Breast Crown Min 2.0kg £12.00
Frozen Turkey Breast Crown Min 2.4kg £15.00

We bought one of these last Christmas, but then ended up leaving it in the freezer when I nabbed a fresh Waitrose Turkey at half price on Christmas Eve.
We had the Morrisons one at Easter and it was very good indeed.

Last year, Morrison's won the Good Housekeeping taste test for frozen Turkey.

Deal is available online and in store. I've just bought a 5.1kg bird for £12.00 in the new large Morrisons in Crawley and there were plenty left of all sizes in the freezers. Won't stop me visiting Waitrose on Christmas Eve again though!

Some sizes are showing as out of stock online.

Just bringing them down to match the price of their fresh crowns and full birds . I noticed that anomaly when I got my fresh crown on Tuesday (£6.95 / kg)

Paid full price for one of these yesterday

Clucking Marvelous!

A turkey crown? That'd be a raw deal not a hot deal!

Yeah and for goodness sake don't even think about plonking it on your 6 year old daughters head when she wants to wear a crown, it all ends in disaster

These are better

Turkeys are too big! I think people have it at Christmas due to tradition but not because they particularly like it!

Nice.

What else do they reduce in Waitrose on Christmas eve? X)

Aldi still cheaper for turkeys even with this discount

Bemuses me that they can call 5kg 'large'. Who on earth buys a turkey that small at Christmas, Christmas isn't Christmas without a decent size turkey, I would never buy anything smaller than 10kg at Christmas as it's tradition to have enough left over for sandwiches later and also going into boxing day.

Yes, stick it in the fridge frozen and let it slowly defrost. It'll be fine. Pull it out on the Wednesday night and cook from room temperature.

love a good turkey crown

Got our turkey crown from Aldi - 2.38kg for £9.99, so not sure how great these prices really are?

get one on Xmas Eve - they will be 50p

Wish I had a big freezer, I love turkey particularly the dark meat and would like to stock up for the rest of the year while they're cheap. Good deal this I'll get down to my local on Monday.

I like the dark meat too

I bought the medium basted turkey tonight. Word of warning - it's MASSIVE and didn't fit in my freezer, or my girlfriends or sisters but managed to squeeze it into my Dads!! This involved a lot of driving about with a frozen turkey melting in the boot! Hope it fits in the oven!!

I only have 4 in my house, and one of those doesn't eat meat. Each to their own, but to me Christmas without a big turkey just wouldn't be Christmas. You also have to consider the quality of the meat, the bigger and better specimen of animal I'm guessing is going to give a better quality meat, a 5kg turkey is either a baby turkey or the runt of the litter. Just got an 11.6kg one today from Sainsburys for £32 and I'm reasonably pleased with that.
