Lidl fruit press in three sizes - 6L, 12L and 18L - oddly they are all the same price, so the 6L is probably not a great deal, but an 18L one is a good deal. They'll probably disappear very quickly...

  • Mechanical steel spindle fruit press for processing apples, pears, berries and more – perfect for making your own wine and cider
  • Made from untreated wood
  • Durable polyester press cloth
  • Basin painted with food-safe colour
  • Fully assembled

I'm sure ALDI and LIDL have a bet going to see who can sell the most obscure items
It seems like a lot of effort and apples for for 1 litre or 35 fluid oz of apple juice.

Still quicker than queuing outside morrisons for an hour

I bypass that stage by freezing them first, then defrosting - no crushing required. Then I'll make cider!
Another one of those Aldi/Lidl items that people will buy, wipe out six months of savings on shopping and then find to be a useless waste of time!

I have apple trees in the garden so I will definitely use it! I wouldn't recommend buying it if you are not interested in pressing fruit!
Have you tried juice extracting 25Kg+ of grapes from a good harvest? Winemaking time and effort saved makes it worth it. Good offer if you would also use it for winemaking with various other fruits. Freezing helps with some fruits but not everything.

I am sure Amazon won that ages ago; or is it just the things I buy.

I will probably try brambles in the autumn.
Tried 4 different Lidls today. Two had received a delivery on Thursday including a single one of these fruit presses. The other two had not received any. None of them expected to get any more in.

Heat for price but you'll be lucky to find one.

I went on Thu lunchtime as I knew they wouldn't be there long as this price for the bigger ones.
