Reduced to £2.50 at my local store, Blackburn.

Excellent price to plant a tree, these are between 3 and 4 feet high.

Do not buy any with the buds open and look for good roots. Soak the tree in water for 1-2 hours before planting.
nice find will look out for them to see if they are in my store
No need to soak the roots in water before planting this time of year lol

Shamateur.

Kind of agree, but shops are warm, so the tree dehydrated. God knows how long they will have been taken out from the soil. My soil is dry, it is not soaking!

I have seen mixed results from ASDA - wrong fruit trees, (Cherry sold as Pear etc). Some folk have had crab apples and not dessert ones.
