Frys Vegan Frozen Foods £1.50 @ Morrisons

Found 19th May 2015
This is a new range that has been introduced at Morrisons. They are on a trial price of just £1.50 for the various things they have. Found them in the Leigh store.

They had a 2 pack of peppered steak style pies, a 4 pack of schnitzels, 4 chicken style burgers and some crispy prawns. They do some nuggets aswell though

These kinds of foods are normally rather expensive so this works out really great and worth stocking up as theyll probably end up at £3 each once the trial period is over

when it comes to free from foods, i think a lot of supermarkets tend to do their own brand. but on the frozen side its usually just quorn and linda mccartney as you mentioned

i dunno if they've struck a deal with morrisons to make it exclusive to them as it makes mention to it on the frys family facebook page/twitter about it being new there

not seen em anywhere before today. i know morrisons was on about doing some sorta takeover deal of ocado. dunno if it happened or not though.

on the facebook page someone asked where stocked them in manchester, to which they said morrisons did and they are normally around £3 each.

so worth getting them now whilst on the trial price. plus morrisons is more accessible

hah and no this appears to be a company that was originally from Australia

Great Deal!

Fab products, fab price

great thanks

Not normally into look/taste likes but cheers, I'll give these a try. we use vegusto for visitors, excellent but a little pricey

I always get excited when something new and healthy appears in a supermarket. But then, with few exceptions, as the weeks go by the stock dwindles then disappears... health foods just don't seem to be popular. Here's hoping they survive and spread to other stores!

Yeah thats often the case. The price is often the problem aswell. If they had them on offer the same as they do all the pizzas and pops they do, people would buy them more.

That way they may get new people trying the products that wouldn't normally go for them to.

Of course they're real vegan prawns... doh!

thanks for this ,they do some nice chicken nuggets which i'll be on the hunt for as I was a bit uncomfortably shocked when I bought them last time and they rung up at £3 (they were new and didn't have a shelf label at the time)

ouch. I know they do the nuggets but may vary between stores. just those 4 things I recall seeing in my local.

I'm vegetarian, and I don't eat processed stuff like this. It's not that hard to make your own food you know

They appear to have a good veggie range in the fresh section too. And in their own Signature range the Mushroom and Stilton en croute were lovely, tho I think this might have been a Christmas special. (I found them reduced to £1.25 in the freezer section)

Thanks, I've seen these at Ocado but always been put off by the price, so I may give them a go now. (It may not be hard to make your own food, but it is tedious :))

Great find. Unfortunately my local Morrison's (new brighton) only had two of the products (schnitzels and nuggets) but still pleased to try them at this price

I have been buying these from Holland & Barrett for about 2 years, The pepper steak pies are my favourite vegetarian option. They have an awesome bite of pepper and really tasty! I can't recommend then enough.
