Was tasked by a friend to find an alternative to some DT Swiss Spline One wheels for his Specialized Epic bike, came across these and couldn't quite believe what I was seeing. A well regarded manufacturer providing a 29" Wheelset at under 1500g. He hesitated and missed out on his preferred Grey 29" Wheelset with a Shimano freehub at the above price but they still have a 29" with SRAM Freehub.

They also have the lower spec (round spokes instead of aero, brass nipples instead of aluminium and steel rather than ceramic bearings) SL-K wheels for £554.99 which is what he ended up going for.

Not a bad price but I’d say Priced due to being non boost (won’t fit newer frames standard) and having an extremely narrow rim 26.1mm external rim width and 24 spokes is far too weak for the majority of mtber these days, good for XC and lightweights and skinny tyres.

I run 28mm-30mm internal rims which just increase strength massively and give a better tyre profile 2.3-2.5

Absolutely. He is running an older bike and these match his current spec perfectly. Mine runs boost, 30mm and 2.6 tyres otherwise I'd have had a set as well.
Nice. Its not clear if these are through axel and come with QR adapters, or are QR and you need an adapter. Any ideas?
An adapter to make them through axel that is.
Through axle with adapters to make them QR according to the FSA website.
