Good question.
I left out hardy from the OP because I wasn't convinced, but fuchsias will overwinter fine in a greenhouse or sheltered place usually anyway.

Well, I''ve splashed out and ordered.
It says on the site "half hardy" but at
this price its a great deal. Free p&p
as well. Thanks for the post Chesso.

Yeah planted in the borders m8...not my handy work as i can't say i'm really green fingered at all.Was already here when we moved into the house but can appreciate how lovely they look.:-D
Might have a go at planting some flowers myself and see how i get on.:p

Ideal For: Border, Containers, Patio

Flowers: July, August, September, October

A most vigorous flowering fuchsia, with masses of crimson and purple flowers throughout summer and autumn. This compact hardy variety is perfect for beds and borders, patio pots and window boxes where their bushy free flowering habit can best be enjoyed. Height and spread: 50cm (20").

How to Grow
Fuchsia - Jolly Nantes
•Pot up plugs and grow them on until large enough to plant outside in their final positions.
•Pinch out the growing points where stems have more than 2 sets of leaves, while the plants are still small. This will encourage the plants to produce more stems, making a bushier plant with more flowers.
•Grow hardy fuchsias in containers or borders, in any moist, well drained soil.
•Position in a sunny or semi shaded site which is protected from cold winds over winter.

Aftercare.
•Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season.
•Deadhead faded flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.
•In autumn, a bark or compost mulch applied to the base of fuchsia plants will help to protect hardy fuchsias from winter cold.

Thanx for all your help,Jerry.
I know exactly where they are going now, when they arrive.:whistling:
Cheers

doesn't look like it as I tried again and they are still in my basket - oh well, maybe try later!

I'm getting that stuff as well after confirming payment

good deal thanks x

just incase anyone doesn't realise these plants will only be about 2 inches big when sent and will need some care to get them big enough to be planted out ;-)

The fuchsia's bright.. The fuchsia's orange.

Still getting the machine-code rubbish when I try to order. I wonder if that free p&p ruse is a techno-loophole that's now being sorted out.
